May 8th 2010 6:41PM Like the author said... Ms. Grace sounds VERY naive. Wonder where in the U.S she grew up? What are her parents like? I've always said "We are a product of our environment." Hate is a learned behavior. Instead of calling Ms. Grace names, we should be trying to show her the error in her views. And until we can educate everyone, from the elderly (like my grandmother unfortunately) to the small children, we will have to live with this silent hate for a LONG TIME.

Jan 22nd 2009 12:46PM My signature scent is I Love Love by Mocchiano. I wear it year round even tho it's a summer scent. Light, Citrus-y, Kind of a lemon meets Tangerine, but it's not a sweet smell. Or, on special occasions, I wear Dans La Jardin Sur le Nil by Hermes. Very green scent, changes on everyone. Absolutely LOVE it, but it's $95 a bottle, so I reserve it for special occasions.

Oct 23rd 2008 8:32AM I never could understand why it cost SO MUCH to ride the train. Traveling back and forth between NY and DC, I would much rather ride the train than to drive, but (the last time I checked) at $425 round trip compared to $40 for gas and $25 for tolls...You do the math!

Oct 15th 2008 8:08AM Pamela - Define "normal". Marriage is when two PEOPLE fall in love and decide to spend the rest of their lives together. Why does it have to be a man and a woman? And I think 6 year old CAN handle the learning esperience without becoming confused. Children can soak up alot. Their minds are open to the acceptance. It's the parents that are not open. My mom ALWAYS sat with my sister and I when we watched TV and would explain what was going on. She would explain everything to us when we would see something outside. That is your JOB as a parent. I think the field trip was a GREAT idea.

People, can we PLEASE teach our children acceptance instead of alienation?! Who someone sleeps with, the color of their skin, even who they want to VOTE for SHOULD NOT MATTER!!!! It's who we are inside. It's HOW we think and see the world!!!
