Should You Give Up Alcohol When You Hit 45? {That's Fit}

Jun 26th 2011 7:58AM Chill out Deborah, you're obsessing. I'm 60 and I'm not fat, I don't have high blood pressure my joints don't ache and I am still gorgeous! So what am I going to give up to make myself feel better? Articles like this.

World's Tallest Dog Comes Face-to-Face With World's Smallest {Pawnation OLD}

Sep 17th 2010 6:14AM If you need a pinch collar to control your dog then perhaps you should reconsider the type of dog you have. Why don't you allow someone that knows how to work with large breed dogs adopt your Great Danes and you get a little lap dog. Better yet - you shouldn't have dogs at all.

Another Death-Defying Sandwich Debuts {Slashfood}

Aug 19th 2010 6:00PM I get a kick out of the folks that get all worked up over their right to eat a burger that contains 2400 calories (nearly twice what healthy people eat in a day) and yet cheer for legislation that allows authorities to check their "papers". I guess the concept of freedom is subjective….

Labradoodle Creator Has Massive Regrets Over the Craze He Started {Pawnation OLD}

May 7th 2010 11:24PM The English Bulldog is a prime example of how well dedicated breeders have done - poor dogs can't breath properly, can't give birth, and have a plethora of joint issues. Bravissimo!

Labradoodle Creator Has Massive Regrets Over the Craze He Started {Pawnation OLD}

May 7th 2010 11:11PM Jim Said: "No fix all the mutts now or else all our purebred dogs will go extinct."
I say: What? Do you think that "purebreds" just happened? Nope, sorry, they're designer genes. The Victorians, for example, were quite adept at breeding small "accessories" and are also responsible for ruining several of the larger breeds as well. Nature has a design for dogs and it doesn't include smushed in faces and hip dysplasia

Nonetheless - dogs rule! People sometimes don’t……

Lieberman and Scott Brown Move to Strip U.S. Citizenship For Terrorists {Politics Daily}

May 7th 2010 8:55AM Zeckery - I'm sorry you are incorrect. The article states that the bill would be designed "...to revoke the U.S. citizenship of suspected terrorists if the State Department finds they are affiliated with a foreign terrorist organization." No where does it indicate naturalized citizens only.

Times Square Bomb Suspect Faisal Shahzad and the Miranda Warning {Politics Daily}

May 7th 2010 12:00AM I don't understand the problem with giving Faisal Shahzad, a US citizen, the Miranda warning. Read him his rights then charge him with treason. Politicans can tapdance for the benefit of which ever news outlet will listen but either we have a functioning legal system or we don't.

Obama: U.S. 'Working Overtime' to Limit Damage From Oil Spill {Politics Daily}

May 4th 2010 6:26PM Eleven people are dead, thousands of barrels of oil are being dumped into the Gulf everyday and all you folks can do is call each other names? Not one damn comment about the companies that are actually responsible for Deepwater Horizon. Not one. To bloody busy blaming each other’s politics and learning how to use the caps lock function.
For anyone interested these are the major players:
Transocean Ltd - The Zug, Switzerland-based company owned and operated the Deepwater Horizon Rig.
BP Plc - BP hired Transocean's rig at a rate of about $500,000 per day to drill the well. BP is the project's operator and has a 65 percent working interest in the well.
Anadarko Petroleum Corp - The Houston company owns a 25 percent nonoperating interest in the well.
Cameron International Corp - The Houston company supplied a piece of equipment known as a blowout preventer. Blowout preventers are put in place to stop an uncontrolled flow of oil or gas. The Deepwater Horizon's blowout preventer failed to operate and seal the well.
Halliburton Co - The oilfield services company, which has headquarters in Dubai and Houston, provided a number of services on the Deepwater Horizon. The company was providing cementing on the well to stabilize its walls, according to Transocean's website.

Immigration Disaster: Massive Influx Would Heighten Environmental Perils {Politics Daily}

Apr 26th 2010 5:47PM It's not their fault. It's not our fault. There is no 'fault.' It's a mismatch that we need to end."

Ms. Erbe: There is a fault and it lies squarely with a Mexican government that either can't or won't deal with the issues you list at the end of your column.

Arizona's Immigration Law Likely Doomed in Court {Politics Daily}

Apr 26th 2010 1:23PM saechao - Three hundred years ago you would have had to petition the Spanish Crown in order to alleviate the suffering of non-existent American citizens from the influx of non-existent illegal immigrants?
