Apr 14th 2010 1:08PM If fines were the answer then we would not still have motorist who speed? Parents have no latitude in disciplining their kids these days and you can be arrested for just about anything you do. Grounding and taking away their dessert doesn't work for the majority of cases.

Apr 14th 2010 12:44PM So they think that federal legislation is going to do something? Children tease and bully all the time possibly because they feel powerless in an adult world. We're raising a generation of wimps and so why have a draft when children these days can't even deal with words let alone a war. All federal legislation will do is put kids in jail for the slightest thing they say that you don't like and that can be anything. This is just what kids do and so maybe kids should not talk to each other at school to be safe. If anyone thinks that a kid is going to not bully someone else because of some legislation doesn't understand why we call kids adolescents.

Everyone knows it, and you would not give up a day of being white and priviledged to be black. But, it's obvious that you're racist being that everyone robs, not just blacks, so why point that out? I also realize that in some instances women are at a disadvantage, and I am willing to admit it, so be a man an admit what everyone already knows!

Jan 13th 2010 5:27PM Where are these all black Internet sites? Blacks barely have anything of their own and their so called all black dating sites have a multitude of white members among other races. It's a testiment to the dichotomy in society that there's even a need for them. However, I don't see what's wrong with men who have been victimized irrespective of race to seek help or comiserate?

Although I think it was a harmless thing that she did behind closed doors, men have been chastized and fired for doing less than that and so I guess either the company felt there had to be some consistency or they just wanted her gone anyway. But, what's strange is how did HR find out?

You are narrow minded and what's wrong with this country. Such thinking victimizes others such as women who experience other than the norm and as a result do not report it for fear of being chastized and not believed.

Jan 8th 2010 7:53PM Good retort, but you appear not to have read the piece carefully. The author stated that he's guilty of NCAA violations post arrival and not before he arrived at University of Kentucky. So, any 'clean bill' that he might have received by the NCAA prior to having arrived doesn't matter. Also, colleges are supposed to follow NCAA rules that athletics are secondary to an education!

It's been twenty years and you're still whining! Obviously the show did not need you because it went on to do well anyway. So, maybe it was a good move on their part to let you go and just business.

But, aside from that it's strange how the age of someone matters so much in this society. If the guy was 15 y/o accused of the same cime, it would be fine. And why did they wait 15 years to arrest him?
