Oct 27th 2010 9:48AM Disney is getting "over the top" on a number of levels. They want you to believe they didn't know about KR's drug history before casting him to begin with, only now that he has a book out that doubtfully any children will read. They also are puffing their feathers over their movie Secretariat, which they completely sugar coated regarding Penny Chenery Tweedy. She NEVER believed in that horse until AFTER he won the Belmont, because she never believed he could run distance. BUT, for all those ppl out there that saw the movie that don't know different, Disney has them believing she had all the faith and belief in that horse from the moment he was born. Why don't you try being honest for a change, Disney?? And honesty here would start in admitting that you can't make a movie anymore without someone in it having some kind of "history"(drugs, alcohol, arrests, etc, etc.)

Oct 5th 2010 11:34PM I am an owner of 2 racebred Thoroughbreds, a 10yr old 1st great grandson of Secretariat and 1/2 brother to famous Smarty Jones, and a 6yr old 1st grandson of the awesome Seattle Slew, the '77 Triple Crown winner. And I for one, would like a movie to be TRUE to the facts. Penny Chenery Tweedy NEVER believed or had faith in Secretariat, not even up to the Belmont. She didn't even believe he would win at that distance as no Bold Ruler horses had ever done. Also, she only took over The Meadow upon her father's incapicitation, NOT because it was her "dream", but to save what he had built, as she was the only one of the siblings that knew enough to do it or that had any desire to. And Secretariat, upon death was discovered to have a heart that was almost 2x's the size of a normal 9lbs, which the vet (Dr.Thomas Swerczek)that did the necropsy even said was probably why he was able to do what he did. Yes, I consider him the "greatest" Thoroughbred ever. But I also KNOW as an experienced Thoroughbred owner that he was a fluke. I look forward to seeing this movie for it's beauty, but I can assure anyone that I won't be seeing it for any facts. I bet even Diane Lane doesn't even know the REAL story.

NO bond on VOP, probably a year and a day in either county jail OR state prison, (having to serve NO less than 85% of your sentence)AND if you screw up again (like she does over & over), the next sentence will probably be 3-5 YEARS!!!! Oh, and the DL is suspended the first time for a year, 2nd time for 5, 3rd time for 10 and after that, permanently. California is the most ridiculous state in the country, and just remember folks, if you want to break the law all the way up to murder, (like the "Beverly Hillbillies") California's the place ya outta be!!!!!

Jul 23rd 2010 11:14PM I absolutely LOVE Angie & Brad. It's wonderful to see them when they are together, they are ALWAYS holding/clutching one another, gazing at each other, so totally and obviously in love, it really IS something most ppl envy. They have an understanding that they do NOT work at the same time so one of them is always with the family, they truly have admitted to being life/soul mates. And ANYONE that wants to criticize that, needs to go take a hard look in the mirror. Aniston is a wannabe, her talent relies strictly on how good her director is, she is selfish, and is California cute, girl next door type, but certainly not beautiful by any means. She obviously has relationship issues as is evident by her "relationships" since Brad. People need to get a grip and stop blaming Angie. Brad wanted out long before "Mr.& Mrs. Smith". He just found what he was looking for on that particular set.

Jul 17th 2010 10:12PM What a bunch of idiots. Christie, you are a complete moron, LEARN b4 you open your mouth! Snakes do NOT die because of a cold winter (certainly not a "cold" winter in Florida!). They hibernate, like most reptiles and amphibians. As far as the Burmese, I have had them all my life, they are normally docile animals if in an appropriate habitat and appropriately fed. And although (once again), there are those that are out to "save" what is now, MOST animals in certain regions of the world, wound up there in other ways than evolving there. Many species around the world were "transported" or "moved" to where they are found now, but originated elsewhere. They then became a part of their new "home", the fellow species (that were already there) adapt to them as "predator and prey" and a new ecological system begins. It's all part of nature and the world as it has always been.
