Jun 3rd 2011 10:13PM fashionble? I work with LGBT teens. It's just what they are. And they know they are from a very early age. It is NOT a choice but a biological reality. Someone else's sexuality should not bother someone with a clear and comfortable sense of his/her own sexuality. None of the kids I work with have any problems with straight people UNLESS a problem is made for them. I agree with the live and let live philosophy. Just because someone isn't "straight" doesn't mean that he/she isn't a good, kind, intelligent, caring, productive person. Could we all please stay out of each other's bedrooms unless invited.
Jun 3rd 2011 5:16PM Brings back wonderful memories of watching westerns with my beloved grandfather. Not having a dad in the house, he was the light of my life. We watched many shows, but Gunsmoke was our favorite. Thanks Marshall for wonderful memories.
Feb 6th 2011 10:23PM I am so disgusted with some of these comments. I will withhold comments on your appearance given the lack of visual evidence, This woman is seriously ill so you might consider giving her a break. Women are not alone in ignoring warnings and given that we were raised to believe that women weren unlikey to have heart attacks, this is not hard to understand. Now we know differently, hence, the wear red for women's heart health/ May all of us be more careful about our health and listen carefully to any and all warnings.

Jan 30th 2011 12:04AM I learned to trust my dogs over people. If my dog didn't like him, he wasn't worth liking. Besides, as one writer said, I too am a package deal. Love me, love my Boston Terrier. Especially after one of them saved my son's life by preventing my 5 month old from trying to crawl down a flight of stairs while his frantic parents were running to get him.
Jan 10th 2011 12:15AM Now lets not get silly. Naming a girl Hank is a little weird. But perhaps not as odd as some of the names and spellings I'ver encountered in 30 years of teaching., My bigger concern is for the parent who is so concerned about what others say about a name. What other things will she worry about?. The child is hers and her mates, not the family, friends, and neighbors. The best advice I ever got was when people offered advice, smile sweetly, nod politely, and ignore everything they said. It is the only advice I pass on.

Oct 20th 2010 8:05PM Christine, please quote the exact part of your Bible that says homosexuality is wrong in God's eyes. My Bible has many, many places where God is loving and caring. God save us from some of the Christiasns such as the ones who hung women as witches and sent 14 year old boys to the Holy Land in the children's Crusade. Why? To kill in the name of God of course.
Oct 20th 2010 8:06AM I appreciate the opportunity to comment on my angel of a mother in law; Alice was in my life far to briefly but in that time gave more love than I ever got at home. She taught me to improve my sewing, knitting, and crocheting, and we taught ceramics together. She taught me to cook the beloved foods of my Polish heritage. She even warned me not to marry her son, advice I did not follow. But despite the horrors of the marriage, I treasure the time with "Mommy" as the greatest blessings of my life. Those of you who have great MILs, treasure them. We are a lucky group indeed. I only hope I can be half as wonderful as she when I get my chance.
Sep 25th 2010 9:38PM so nice to hear from an open minded TV viewer who cannot judge acting but spouts political venom. You are surely within your rights to have a political opinion. Too bad you chose to state it in a way that exposes your ignorance.
