Mar 6th 2011 2:13PM Words have ALWAYS had power, or we wouldn't use them. So by stopping the use of that word, we take its power away. Those who have some sort of intelligence don't need to use these kinds of words. I have never said that word. And won't. You should not be surprised that while we respect right to free speech. Not all free speech is ok. Words that incite violence are NOT okay. I applaud her courage and determination to stick to it. I know the power of words, especially when said to you by your peers, or family. Unfortunately, the rest of the world will take a long time to catch up to the lack of intelligence in using the word r*****.

Jan 17th 2011 9:39PM A few of his jokes were a bit off, but I thought it was pretty good. You are right, too many people don't know how to laugh at themselves. Besides, the network gave Ricky the okay that they didn't have to review his jokes. But other guys like Downey, make fun of themselves and it's okay. Go figure! Get a life guys, he will still have a job. And as for the HFPA, c'mon do we all have to make you happy to get on the show?! Sheesh. Here's to being politically incorrect!!

Oct 29th 2010 11:22PM He isn't that bad of a teacher. He is one with a heart. That is how many teachers start. But I have to say the administrators have become hardcore "hard asses". I mean couldn't they have taken the dog biscuit as a joke? I work in education and I am tired of those who are burnt out and should have left years ago. Some of those people should be gone. Remember they are KIDS!!!!

Jun 18th 2010 9:50PM How spectacular. It will be as if I am walking the streets myself. What a wonderful idea that has come to fruition. It will be as if I have been zapped thorugh my tv to a real world.

I am already planning a vacation for my husband and my son and I to celebrate my son's 11th birthday in the end of August. We can pretend, as we all do, that we are wizards ourselves on a visit to Hogwarts. Even if just for a moment or an hour or a couple days.

I guess I am a kid at heart and spirit. So with my family we can all be kids again. The only thing better would be if it really happened. But till then, I will enjoy myself in the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter at Universal.

Evan, I can't believe you are blaming the victim. Even blaming the kid who kills himself. It is NOT rejection that "sets a kid to suicide". A child is still forming their beliefs, especially at the elementary
school level.

When someone repeatedly tells you ... you are stupid, ugly, will die alone, or pushes you around, laughs at you and encourages others to do so. You start to believe it.

This is the same type of thing adults face in the means of abusive spouses or abusive parents. It is not reported because they are being told how wrong, bad or ineffective they are. They believe it. They are very vulnerable.

Do your homework before you make such ridiculous comments.
