Luv Coach Q&A: Rocking the Cradle of Love! {BV on Love}
Jan 11th 2011 10:59PM It depends on the two involved. He and I met and became casual friends when he was 22 and I was 29, divorced, two small children. After a short casual friendship we began dating. One month later we decided to marry and did so two months after that. I was a very small town girl with limited worldly and social and his early world was NJ and NY. This happened in 1961. In June we will celebrate our 50th. So it really depends on the people involved, their backgrounds, and where they are in their lives.
Amish Bonnet Rippers Make for Romantic, Chaste Reading {Lemondrop}
Sep 10th 2009 11:32AM For years Georgette Heyer has headed the list of Regency Romance novelists and is considered a great historian as well as romance novelist. Mild kissing scenes are as far as it goes. She also wrote a line of mystery novels which were very popular.
Angela Thirkell, another British author, wrote prolifically and humorously about life in a fictious part of England. Her time period was mostly before WWII untill some time after the war ended. Again, she wrote without having to resort to sex scenes to make her books interesting. I'm sure there are others; these are just my favorites. They are well written, as both authors know how to use the English language correctly.

$1 cereal: save with Malt-O-Meal! {WalletPop}
Jul 27th 2008 2:06PM I don't think that "commodity costs" were the "lifelong lover of cereal", as the opening sentence indicates. Grammar is always important in order that the message gets across clearly.
And yes, they have been shrinking boxes and all other sorts of packaging. It is easier to fool the public that way, although I think today's consumer is becoming more of a label-reader and so is less easy to deceive. Many stores now sell cereal and grain products in bulk; buying that way can be a big savings per pound for the careful shopper.
Produce storage tips and tricks {Slashfood}
Jan 1st 2008 11:18AM Mark, rudeness is neither necessary nor welcome. You can store bananas in the refrig if you have more than you can use right away. Certainly, the skin turns brown, but the inside banana is fine. As we don't eat the skin, who cares? And they sell those banana hangers to people who buy any and all kitchen gadgets; they are totally unnecessary. I hope you have a good day and can get in a better frame of mind for the coming year. You seem to be an unhappy person. I wish you well.
Katie Holmes: what are you wearing? {ParentDish}
Feb 6th 2006 10:39AM Good grief, people! Get a life. Don't you have anything better to do with your own lives than to speculate about other's lives? Really serious stuff is going on out there in the real world;get involved. My grandmother used to say, often, "Be kind to one another." Try it; it works.
