Glenn Close Denounces Navy Captain Using Her in Offensive Video {PopEater}
Jan 5th 2011 11:09AM Glenn Close is offended by this? Hollywood puts out more offensive, less entertaining, and in worst taste entertainment than this stuff. This is 2010 not 1940!
Mouse Control, the Humane Way {DIY Life}
Dec 30th 2010 8:02AM I get mice every winter once it starts to get cold. Bought a ferret and while he was alive had no mouse problem at all. He left his scent along the edge of the walls and they wouldn't venture in. Those few that did ended up in a stash of mummified mice I found hidden under my storage bench the year after he died. I do miss the little guy! Never missed the damn mice!
'Justified' Season 2 Gets Premiere Date {AOL TV}
Dec 22nd 2010 2:09PM Justified can be considered a modern day western, Raylin Givens is the Dirty Harry of Kentucky. Should be a great show, created by fellow metro Detroiter Elmore Leonard who writes both westerns and crime stories. Leonard once said the only difference between the two kinds of stories was that the High Noon gunfight might take place on a downtown street. The stories and Olyphant should continue to shine this second season.
I hate most remakes of movies or TV shows, but I would vote for Tim Olyphant as the next Dirty Harry!
Career Watch: Renee Zellweger Needs Post-'Case 39' Career Revamp {Moviefone Blog}
Oct 4th 2010 10:09PM Don't feel bad for Renee when it comes to Appaloosa. That little western will go down as a cult favorite eventually being recognized as a timeless classic that should have received more recognition in its day. Now some of those other films she's made recently....... well, let's just write it off as a dry spell. LOL
Larry King to End Show After 25 Years {PopEater}
Jun 30th 2010 12:11PM My God, you mean he's still on TV? I thought he died or something years ago. Is anybody still watching him?
'River Monsters' Host Jeremy Wade Talks Killer Fish {AOL TV}
Apr 25th 2010 7:45PM That's no fish! That's my first mother-in-law!

Mar 27th 2010 5:38PM Hey, I love all the people leaving comments here. Just one little question. Who left the gates to the zoo open? Now I know why they call them dumb animals! LOL
'I Spy' Star Robert Culp Dies After Fall at Home {PopEater}
Mar 24th 2010 10:35PM When I was a little kid I loved cowboys and one happened to be the fella with the cool walk and the big Smith & Wesson in Trackdown, and in the midst of the spy craze that same cool guy teamed with Bill Cosby to chase spies across Europe in I Spy. When my kids were little one of the big treats was introducing them to those two nutty guys Ralph and Bill with the red super suit, especially Bill Maxwell (Robert Culp) with the pair of .45s and the George Patton attitude who snacked on dog biscuits. Hell, he even had my boys trying dog biscuits! Robert Culp was always hip and cool like a member of the Rat Pack, intense and brooding when needed, always funny and good natured when the role called for it. Here's hoping that now that he's through down here, those little green guys in the spaceship beam him up and start showing him around the far corners of the galaxy! Sorry to see ya go, Bob!
James Cameron Plays With Fire, Calls Glenn Beck a Raving 'Madman' {PopEater}
Mar 24th 2010 9:19AM Cameron should stick to movies and try making something that deals less with technology and more with a thoughtful story. Avatar was nothing more than a western set in the future, a blatant allegory on the Indian Wars of the latter 19th Century, replacing American Indian mysticism with modern day environmental religion, and saying nothing new or better than what Hollywood did 50 years ago. Cameron should spend more time studying and interpreting history and less time just copying it. Then maybe Glenn Beck wouldn't "scare" him!
Bare Walls? Less Expensive Alternatives to the 'Mona Lisa' {Rented Spaces}
Feb 27th 2010 10:12AM I agree with John and Carol! Got an Ansell Adams in one room, posters of Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon in another, and the room with the big wall-mounted HD TV has several reproduction movie posters in it (Casablanca, Rio Bravo, Some Like it Hot, and Jaws.
