Oct 13th 2009 9:36AM I'm surprised that no commenter on here has mentioned that when she turned to her "community" for help, they asked her what she had done to provoke him. Now there's a cultural/religious thing that should be considered dangerous to everyone....women in the community as well as everyone who doesn't belong to that particular group. Any time you give all the power to one gender, and then by extension a smaller group within that gender, that gender group is going to do whatever it takes to hold onto that power. That's how terrorism works.

At this point, you're just guessing as to why she's keeping her distance, probably because you'd like to think she still wants to jump your bones. I'll bet there is a reason/reasons other than that. But you'll never know unless you ask.

Sep 22nd 2009 3:07PM Exactly! I pay by check for groceries, and it's completed except for the amount, which takes 15 seconds to write down when the checker has finished ringing up my purchases. I've never "held anyone up", unlike a few debit card users that I've had to wait for, who can't seem to put in their correct PIN, or the cards aren't processing properly for whatever reason. Frankly, I don't even mind the wait, unless it is excessive. And I've never been behind a check writer who is trying to balance their account after writing their check, like a couple of comments I've read here. What is up with that? Where the hell are you shopping??

I've worked in accounting departments for years, and it is beyond irritating when you inform workers of deadlines for info, and they blow it off or ignore your email, only to wander into your office days later and expect to have you make a special exception for them and cut them a manual check. My guess is that this is what had been happening, and she was trying something different to catch their attention.

My grandmother and mother looked years younger than their chronological ages, so I know that's a huge factor. I'm in my mid-50's, and I'm starting to experience a little sagging along the jawline, but very few wrinkles, and my neck is still smooth and firm. Some of us are just lucky, and I think Demi is as well.
