Aug 26th 2011 5:32AM I'm a licensed manicurist as well. Just wanted to let others know that they don't have to soak their clients' nails in a bowl of acetone. I use foil cut in little squares and cotton balls that are cut small enough with remover (acetone plus conditions--not as harsh as pure acetone) to wrap clients' nails to get the gels off. I usually wrap them first, do their pedi and that gives it enough time to peel off.
