Jun 24th 2011 1:42AM I also was diagnosed with Graves Disease about 12 years ago. While I am tempted to say that the author exaggerates a bit, I also know that this is a very serious disease and unless it is controlled, it can be life threatening. I can't pretend to know what Missy Elliott is going through versus what I went through. So, I hope she is as well as I am. However, the radiation therapy is not such a big thing. It's NOTHING like the radiation that cancer patients go through, thank God.

Jun 21st 2011 2:35PM This child was 2 years old!!. Most 2-year-olds are still wearing diapers. The child was hit so hard that there were red marks (that's plural) on his or her buttocks. That's not spanking. That is abuse! What could such a young child have done that could have possibly warranted spanking hard enough to bruise? Are you kidding me?? It may be more difficult to parent wthout hitting but I know it's not impossible for reasoning people. But, still, if you feel you must spank, it certainly doesn't require beating or even pain. A light smack on a diapered bottom is enough to get a 2-year-old's attention.

Dec 7th 2010 7:16AM You have an amazing body. But the before picture was a bit low brow IMHO. On the other hand, the after pic is cute, but kinda blah. It's okay to be your age. But be yourself. Keep a little sass, a bit of sex appeal. Just stay out of the junior section while you're doing it! Pick your good asset (chest, midriff, legs, whatever) and show off ONE thing. Keep the rest covered up. If you're a hot, single mom, you're not going to win any friends, anyway, among the married women. Forget 'em!

But a man is much stronger than a woman. IF, and I do mean IF, a woman initiated violence, the only marks she should have on her are those caused by self-defense, i.e. restrained her until the police come.

I can't believe I am even commenting on this, but it seems to me that the First Lady runs warm. We all saw her during the inauguration in just a light coat in 20 degree weather. I envy her her internal thermostat and wish I could wear sleeveless year round. She looks fabulous and it works for her. Leave her alone.

Feb 25th 2009 7:19PM I have to say that respect is a two-way street. I have been the "victim' of flight attendants with nasty attitudes and snarls on their faces. On the other hand, I've been less-than-pleasnt myself on the tail end of exhausting travel. Maybe we all need to be a little bit better people.
