"I Do" Times 23 -- "Lonely" Indiana Woman Considering 24th Marriage {Lemondrop}
Jul 13th 2011 11:11AM I'm surprised the record is so low. I would have figured some people out there would have married 100s of times. I think the concept of one marriage per lifetime is way out-dated and obsolete. I'd encourage people to marry several times per year. I am actually quite proud of this woman. This way, we can ensure variety in our lives, no getting bored with a spouse, multiple sex-partners, and don't have to feel guilty about it, since you are husband and wife, etc... More chances to get it right and maybe even meet one of your dozens of spouses, who would actually be worth spending the rest of your life with.
Folk Fight! Joni Mitchell Calls Bob Dylan a 'Fake' {PopEater}
Apr 23rd 2010 2:48PM Actually, the vast majority of Dylan's contemporaries, during his early "Greenwich Village years," have said the same thing-
Dylan stole/plagiarized much of his early material. Despite his "humble origins", "Woody Guthrie-ness," Army/Navy Store workman's clothing, civil rights marches, etc...Dylan was a shrew businessman focused from the very beginning on money, fame, and self-promotion. And it worked! His image during the 1960s was nothing more then a carefully cultivated image.
Having said all that, I consider myself a Dylan fan I'm also a musician and he has influenced me in that regard. Despite all his theft and fakery, he still has many unique talents as a song writer, poet, musician and performer.
I also agree with Joni that Madonna has done her fair part, in the dumbing down of the music scene as well as America in general.
