The Magic Pill That Makes Oral Sex Taste Better? {Lemondrop}

Jul 11th 2010 2:14PM I REALLY think you and your husband need to see a doctor. Drippy is a sign of STD's and it sounds like if yours is that nasty you have contracted whatever it is from him. I am SURE it's from his going out and finding/paying for oral.

Lemonade Stand Tips: Top 7 Tips for Success {ParentDish}

Jul 5th 2010 1:25PM My husband and I were just asking ourselves when we should get our oldest son (he is 7) a lawnmower to go makes some money in the neighborhood. Our good friend Travis started at 10 door to door mowing and got 10 or so regular accounts and now in his late 20's owns a VERY succesfull lawn, landscaping and snow service. He had to pay his friends late after he suckered them into working for him but he always payed them, he worked all of his summers and late after school most days but he did it. His parents got him a lawnmower and told him to get out there and work. By the time he was in his last years of high school he had enough money to do what he wanted and go where he wanted. It really is about hard work.

The Bad Tip Follow-Up - What Can I Get You Folks? {Slashfood}

May 26th 2010 11:02PM Oh, and if TIP means "to ensure proper/prompt service" shouldn't the TIP be given before the meal? Tipping is not required it is a choice and even though I tip 20% I feel like I am being forced. I don't like to feel that way so we don't eat out much. Especially because food is way overpriced and alcohol markup is almost laughable it's so outrageous so I know the restaurants can afford to pay the servers more. It's just a big scam, the owners laugh all the way to the bank and the servers get screwed. Labor laws need to be changed and tips need to be truly a choice not an obligation. It just makes some people feel resentful. I won't eat anywhere that a gratuity is added to the bill. 100% of the time the service sucks when that is the rule. A waitress made my mother very upset on her birthday because we had 2 more people than the reservation stated but she didn't give a damn because she had her 18%. Her manager had our 2 cents though and I hope it made a difference.

The Bad Tip Follow-Up - What Can I Get You Folks? {Slashfood}

May 26th 2010 10:52PM My husband works as a mechanic, he works on comission and not a very great flat rate I might add... he is on his feet 90% of his 60+ hour work week, he goes above and beyond for everyone.. checking cars for free knowing the shade tree mechanic will be fixing the problems he is finding for free because people are too cheap and rude to buy service from the dealership. He rotates and balances for nothing if needed, he does alignment checks, he greases door jams, tops off fluids, resets the computers if they malfunction with errors, I could go on and on... he does this as a courtesy and mind you he only gets a percentage of PAYING JOBS.. does anyone tip him? NO. While he is busy doing this courtesy work for cheapskates he could be out finding paying work. Does he whine? NO. Does he expect you to tip him? NO. He would gladly take the 2 or 3 bucks an hour wait staff get while he is doing crap work.. at least he would be making something for his time. Waiters and waitresses aren't the only ones that have it bad I think they are the only ones that expect tips. Remember next time your mechanic does something for you for free it is coming out of thier pocket, they don't get paid ANYTHING hourly... maybe you should give them a 5 if they checked your air pressure and filled your tires or changed that fuse for free. It's coming out of their pocket when you overlook them. My husband doesn't ever say anything about it but I think he deserves to be rewarded for his service. Especially those who come in looking for free diagnostics knowing that the neighborhood grease monkey is going to fix what my husband finds is wrong with the car for a six pack. Tip them, they deserve it.

Boy, 14, Allegedly Tattooed Against His Will By Bullies {ParentDish}

May 26th 2010 11:19AM I think the girlfriends parents should be ashamed of themselves for telling him not to contact their daughter anymore. Sounds like the are bullies too. It wasn't his fault. I hope all the ones that had a part in this are on a sex offender registry for life and the ones that have pictures of it on their phones or in their posession are charged with having child pornography. Shame on all of the parents that don't raise their kids right, bad parents make bad kids.

Principal Under Fire for Having T.I. as Guest Speaker {The Boombox}

Apr 24th 2010 9:33PM I think the people outraged by this are going to be surprised when their children are 30 years old asking mommy and daddy to come and kiss their boo-boo's and pick out their clothes. There is a term for people that overreact and constantly hover... Hellicopter Parents. Does your child watch television or go out in public at all or do you keep them inside with only educational toys made with organic materials spoon feeding them organic tofu making sure their helmets, knee pads and plastic bubbles are all tight and secure. Get over yourselves and your kids. You all probably have friends that have done much worse than this guy (principal and TI) and if you are Catholics your priests HAVE done way worse. STFU.

Ad Age names the best TV ads of the decade {WalletPop}

Dec 21st 2009 11:54AM My favorite ever was the Quaker Chewy Granola Bar commercial.. the kids saying things like "My mom made my dad get a new secretary" and "My grandma says my sister dresses like a floozie" "My dad has a rash" Then the announcer says shut them up for a few minutes give them a chewy granola bar. I love it!

Exclusive: Meet the One 13-Year-Old Who Despises 'Twilight' and Robert Pattinson {PopEater}

Nov 28th 2009 6:15PM Yeah, she sounds smart. She read 3 pages. That was Bella going to Forks...that is all. She didn't even get to the Cullens yet. Harry Potter was not crap either. The women who wrote these books have an amazing imagination and gift for story telling. I think she is just another 13 year old stuck up brat. I am sure she has no friends to talk about Robert Pattinson with. My guess is that is the problem.

Gender Disappointment: When Parents Don't Get The Child They Wanted {ParentDish}

Nov 19th 2009 4:09PM My best friend actually stopped talking to me for a while when she found out my last baby was a girl. She has 2 beautiful boys but her husband had gotten a vasectomy without her knowledge beforehand. She wanted girls so bad and ended up with 2 boys and not a good chance of having more children. I will admit I wanted (and though for a while she was) a boy when I was pregnant with my first. I could not imagine not having my 2 girls, first and last and 2 boys in the middle. I nearly fell off the ultrasound table with my last girl when they said she was a SHE. I thought again for sure it would be a boy. I got my favorite name out of the deal though.. Cadence but I was looking forward to using Kaden. It am so over it now when I look in that chubby beautiful little face of hers.
