Dec 17th 2011 4:40PM My problem is when the vet themselves don't listen to the patient. I once dropped my cat off for 20 mins because I had to go to work for something and I told the vet NOT to do anything to the cat other then an exam. I came back and found out they had given my cat a steroid shot and expected me to pay for it! I did refuse to pay for that shot which by the way did give my cat skin issue. As for the person who said vets are money grubbers.. Yes-They-Are! I first took my cat in to ask why he wasn't himself and the vet told me, "I can't get inside a cats head" and told me to pay up for an exam. Then another example is when the cat was given a steroid shot. I told the vet...the shot didn't do anything. They said "let's give it another to off-set that shot"

Everyone is out for money instead of the care needed nowadays!

Mar 10th 2011 5:46AM I grew up in the 80's and She-ra and old fashioned Barbie had less clothes and a skinner waist then Tinkerbell! Parents didn't care...it shut us up in our bedrooms, at sleepovers with friends, we enjoyed the doll.

First San Fran can't even have a Happy Meal toy because it makes their kids fat

What about the "Bratz" dolls in the 90's...you see the clothes those dolls wore?! (or their make up)

Parents are nitpicking over EVERYTHING now!

Jan 2nd 2011 4:59AM I have two cats...to keep them entertained I have 2 bird feeders, some toys scattered, cat beds and a 7 foot cat tree. While the two cats entertain themselves they are VERY MUCH people person type of cats.

My Snowshoe's past time is digging in the litter box. I don't know why she finds this so pleasureable!

But to let my two cats out...No Way! There are too many variables of what could happen to them outside.

My Snowshoe doesn't like to go outside (she was born a feral kitten turned shelter kitty) and she must have pyschological issues of what outside if really like)

My other cat is too friendly that I'd fear he'd be stolen, attacked by dogs, or wildlife out here, diseases, etc...

The only thing I can do to pacify their need for loneliness is have them deal with me being gone all day-the cats have each other to talk with and be around, and plenty of toys to bat around in the house (or sleep their day away and play with each other all night)

btw, I heard of the McLobster thing but we don't have it that far south either. I'm not complaining though. I thought McDonalds used to sell hot dogs in England.
