Sep 20th 2010 2:01PM I have watched an episode or two of the show too, and I don't think she seems very even keeled at all. In fact, I think she seemed very materialistic and irrational. When they were searching for a home, she absolutely was unreasonable! She wants what she wants, when she wants it. I did not like her attitude. It just seems that in today's economy, they may have chosen to stay put, in AZ for the time being instead of making such a huge move. At least they have family in AZ. I hope they get it together.

Oct 14th 2008 5:20PM As the single mother of an 18 year old daughter, I have the utmost respect for Levi and Bristol for making the decision to keep and raise their baby. He could have decided to walk away and shirk his responsibilities like my daughter's "sperm donor" (I use this term because he is not a father in my eyes)
And I agree with vicre1...maybe we don't know the full story. They may be continuing their education online...my daughter did..and it is an accredited HS program. Who are we to judge?
I think people should just stay out of it, quit judging, and let this family handle it. They will make the best decision for them!

Michelle Duggar is not as big as the Grand Canyon. In fact she is a thin woman...and she is not too old...I do believe that she is 42.
I do not think that they are on welfare. They may get help from the community, but when they were on the Today show, they did a segment on them and they actually can feed their family on $200 a month. They are debt-free, so I would wecome a reality show that will give me tips on how to better spend my money and how to live debt free. In today's economy, maybe we all should take some pointers!
The Duggars are not living for 15 minutes of fame...they are living according to God's will, and if this is the path chosen, then leave them be. The kids are well-behaved..unlike some of the demons we see on the "nanny shows."
So if you don't like them and what they stand for, then by all means, exercise your free will and don't watch the show!
