Woman Terminates Adoption Because She Can't Bond With The Child {ParentDish}
Oct 3rd 2009 10:53PM I was an adopted child and I begged to be sent back to the orphanage for years. Unfortunately that didn't happen. My Mother actually admitted she hated me and favored my adopted brother. She should never have been allowed to adopt at all.
Now I'm almost 60 and she is 89. She gave all her money away to my no good brother and now is dependant on my daughter and I to support her until she dies. Sometimes I wish I had the guts to tell her I refuse to do this but as my daughter says, I'm not built the way she is.
Not everyone is meant to adopt children. There is something inside her that is missing and always has been.
For Locks that Rock: Three Weird Hair Innovations {Lemondrop}
Nov 18th 2008 11:02AM I think that the hair dryer holder would be great for people with arthritis or disabilities that cannot hold their arms up for long periods of time. I'd definately use it.
Mexico Named Best Place To Retire {Gadling}
Oct 2nd 2007 11:45AM I would retire to Mexico in a heart beat. Im getting closer to that goal. My daughter wants to buy us a home in San Luis Potosi. Its a beautiful old city in central Mexico. Medical is very inexpensive and very advanced. They have Wal Mart and other big stores and McDs in some places. The only drawback Ive seen is the utilities...so its solar power all the way for me. Im not into beaches or drinking but am after an affordable place to live. and yes Servants would be nice so I don't have to clean house myself. The city has cobbled streets and most people walk to where they go. Water? Well I drink bottled from WalMart anyway.
Building 'Green' in a Big Way: The EcoManor {Luxist}
Mar 20th 2007 11:08PM Check out Cob and Strawbale building...dirt or rice bags...lots of ways to go green. Solar electric helps too.
World's most expensive M&M {Slashfood}
Feb 20th 2007 12:49PM Why do people feel only the wealthy waste money? Or are the only ones that can help others? There are thousands of little things each of us can do everyday that will help others and help our planet. From turning off the lights in a room no one is in to changeing out the light bulbs to energy saving ones. Working at a food pantry to donateing to one or collecting for one. Im sick of the "but I have nothing" excuse. EVERYONE has something they can do that is valuable to this world. Buy some land and build a green ( renewable ) house and use solar energy to make things run. If I can do it on my $603 a month than anyone can !!! Stop b*tching and start building !!!! A better life, a better world.
Why Wal-Mart is losing to Target {BloggingStocks}
Oct 31st 2006 4:34PM TARGET is anti American. It is owned by a French company. I refuse to shop at a Target because they are not willing to be part of the community and country. Wal Mart started out with good intentions....buy American from Americans...but fell down on its way. Id like it better if they went back to that. I'd even pay a few dollars more.
