Teacher Says She Doesn't Regret Punching Student in Face {ParentDish}
Jun 6th 2011 3:40PM It's so hard for some parents to realize this when they think their precious babies are struggling, but that teacher may have done him a favor, if he has enough brain cells to wise up and realize it. If no one ever fights back at his obviously out-of-control behaviour, then one of these days, that kid will confront someone who will shoot first and think later. I think it's the worst form of child abuse to make a kid think there are no serious consequences to lack of self-control, and to leave them to find out the very, very hard way, maybe even at the cost of his life, that there are.

Jun 6th 2011 3:28PM I wonder if this kid actually thinks that threatening a 64 year old woman makes him a tough guy? I hope at some point he can see how completely ridiculous he looked, and I hope this coward's silly little ego gets the bruising it deserves when he realizes that he just got clocked by the ONE person he thought he could beat.

Jun 6th 2011 3:19PM It looks as if she moved about as far away as she could get; walls are pretty unyielding. He may not have touched her with his hands (although we didn't see the whole video, and he may have), but he absolutely did bump her hard with his chest, which is a very aggressive act that has no other meaning than a threatening one.
Billy Ray Cyrus Calls Off Divorce! {The Boot}
Mar 18th 2011 6:28PM But you have to keep in mind that even if the other child is "almost 18", Miley IS 18, which means the other child was born between Miley's birth and her parents' marriage. However you look at it, that's not really considered a "previous relationship". (Might want to check the facts before you blast someone else for noticing them...just sayin'.)
Billy Ray Cyrus Calls Off Divorce! {The Boot}
Mar 18th 2011 6:19PM That doesn't even make any sense. First of all, do you really believe there is some "standard look" that a pedophile has to have in order to be identified as such? Second, unless you're also accusing him of incest, what could delusional accusations like that possibly have to do with Miley?
The Amazing Jane Fonda Talks to Us (and Her 25-Year-Old Self) {Lemondrop}
Dec 6th 2010 2:04AM They hate Jane, and you hate them, so you will certainly have a share in any "shame" you're hoping to dish out. You said you wanted to p*** on someone's grave and called them a moron, and yet you call them haters....does the word "hypocrite" mean anything to you?
If anyone should be ashamed to call themselves Americans, it surely isn't the people who stand against everything that traitor did. It's the people who support her.

Dec 5th 2010 5:44PM Not only that, but she must be unaware that, unlike what she's written, "most" people weren't unborn or toddlers at that time. The median age for women in the U.S. is about 38, which means that there are as many women over 38 as there are under it. If all you had to go by was the author's misinformation, you'd think the median age was 20 or 25. Coffee's brewing...wake up....
As far as Jane, her answers were mind-boggling. How anyone can get to the age of 72 and still be such a self-centered, out-of-touch airhead is beyond my comprehension, and yet, there she is.

Dec 5th 2010 12:54AM On November 21, 1970 she (Jane) told a University of Michigan audience of some two thousand students, "If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist." At Duke University in North Carolina she repeated what she had said in Michigan, adding "I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism. Was Michigan Teacher Wrong to Eject Students for Anti-Gay Remarks? {ParentDish}
Nov 17th 2010 10:05AM What is so disturbing about this situation is that in one sentence, the teacher wonders why a student "felt safe" speaking out about something he believed....as if it were only right that he SHOULDN'T feel safe. Then in his next sentence, he says that all students should feel safe expressing themselves. Obviously he doesn't believe that second part; he means that only students who follow certain prescribed viewpoints should be able to feel safe, even from the consequence of getting kicked out of class, when they are, as he himself admitted, calm and behaving well. How anyone can NOT see the inconsistencies here is just mind-boggling. And no matter that the student who is defending him did so with a gross exaggeration (at best)....lies don't seem to matter to some people as long as they get their way.
