Mar 15th 2012 5:18PM Whenever someone hears I have a 16 year old daughter, they will always grimmace or say they're sorry or somethng like that. But the truth is, she has a 4.3 GPA and wants to go to either Stanford or Berkeley. The people she hangs out with are quiet and only go to movies and stuff. When I ask her why she isn't more social, she says there are too few people at school she would want to hang out with because they are all either stoned or drunk. So, she says she prefers to work hard to get into a good college, so hopefully she will be around other people who care. Her intent is so good, I didn't have the heart to tell her about college parties being crazy. If she wants to work hard to achieve her goal, who am I to burst her bubble? At least she's not out acting like a schmuck!!

My husband was in a car accident 2 years ago and we may lose the house we built with out own two hands. BUT my family has their health and we have food on our table. Helping out this deserving woman would be an honor!

Aug 9th 2011 10:30AM OMG! You are SO right. I can't stand how flip flops have become the shoe of choice. People have the nastiest feet! What about those ladies who have the thick growth on their heals that are all cracked and have black gunk in the crevices? EWWW!
Or what about people who apparently don't own nail clippers? Yuck! And don't get me started on the french pedicure.....Why would you want to emphasize where your supposed toe nail is? I saw one woman with a quarter inch white toe nail painted on her nail! If it were you real toe nail would you really wear it that long??! It's just bizarre!!
