50 Greatest Guitar Riffs in Rock 'n' Roll -- Part 2 {Spinner}
Jan 15th 2011 11:44AM I don't write for Spinner. But I listened to all of these. There are some lame entries on this list that should not even make the top 100 while its missing the likes of Stevie Ray, Ted Nugent Cat Scratch fever anyone), George Kooymans, Carlos Santana, etc, etc. I know its about riffs and not artists, but anyone of these has a riff that should make the top 50!!
Oddly enough when I first saw the article, the first "stand out" riff that came to mind was "My Sharona" and it wasn't even on the list!!
I guess everyone has their fav's and i think this list is more about the the author's fav's and not and actual compilation of the greatest stand out riffs.
Tennessee Man Uses Firearm to Carve Pumpkin {Asylum}
Oct 31st 2010 8:09AM Why not? Everyone is always stabbing pumkins to carve them and when you think of the accidental cuts with a knife, the gun don't sound like such a bad idea....and you can go out and kill people with the same knife you used to carve a pumkin as you can with a gun
Brett Favre, Vikings Not Quite Ready Yet {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Sep 10th 2010 8:58AM 40 aint too old to play. What i find interesting is I've got 14 years on Brett and he looks as old or older than me. i still do a number of things that I'm "too old" for and do them well. Growing up is optional Retire and and die early.

Lincoln, Buick top ACSI satisfaction study for first time ever {Autoblog}
Aug 18th 2010 6:12PM I rented a '10 Buick LaCross on a trip to California recently and I must say that it was the finest vehicle I have driven in years...perhaps ever. It was quiet and quite comfortable, far more power than I would ever need, very responsive in manuevering, performance and braking, sporty and elegant at the same time. if i were in the market for a sedan these days, the buick LaCross would definitely be my first choice.

Outrageous Ways to Say 'I Quit' {AOL Jobs}
Jul 10th 2010 8:18AM It doesn't appear to me that the artical (or AOL) is promoting the behavior. It starts off warning that it can backfire and it was obviously intended for entertainment, not advice. I would like to read more about the consequences these people had to face later in their "careers"....like "howzat workin for ya???"
I've been an employer most of my working life. Its uncomfortable for both parties whenever irreconcilable differences result in termination, voluntary or otherwise. Why complicate the issue further with revenge when both parties likely had some part in it. Fault finding is pointless and resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die from it
'Bachelorette' Spoilers: Who Will Ali Choose? {AOL TV}
Jun 27th 2010 8:53AM If they controled circumstances in that manner, they would eliminate the drama that keeps viewers glued to their sets. Should they outlaw the Michelles and the guys that get tattoos on their wrists as well? We know they aren't gonna go down to the final rose.
'Bachelorette' Spoilers: Who Will Ali Choose? {AOL TV}
Jun 27th 2010 8:48AM Why does tv have to be serious? I think most people watch it for entertainment....quite frankly, i find the Bachelor/bachelorette serious rather amusing. But I'm sure that with all the channels available these days, you can click one with serious content without being distracted by the likes of unreal reality shows.
