When Making New Friends Feels A Lot Like Dating {Lemondrop}
Jul 1st 2010 4:47PM I have to disagree. I moved to a brand new city after I graduated college, and had a negative expereince because everyone I met (including my roommate) was so comfortable in their friends that they grew up with and all lived in the same city, that they didnt need my friendship. One you get so stuck in your already established friendships, you can really miss out on a new opportunity.
I ended up moving back hom a year and a half later, and even though I came back into the arms of my home friends, I have made so many new friends that I would never have met if I hadn't moved back.
I just encourage everyone to never make anyone feel like you dont need their friendship, you dont know what you could be missing out on.
