My Son Is Awful to His Younger Sister. What Can I Do? {ParentDish}
Oct 11th 2010 9:05PM The majority of this advice is absolutely terrible. I really hope you read my comment and take it into consideration. Almost all of you are looking at this issue as parents, well let me tell you how that boy is feeling because I can relate to it. No one is bothering to look at it from the poor kids point of view.
I'm 8 years older then my little sister and I hated her when I was younger! And it was because I was jealous of her, I wasn't the only child and I pretty much acted like how your son acts. I would be mean to her and make her cry, and I would hit her. Rarely hugged her or told her I loved her. Keep in mind I was 8 years older then her! It must be even more worse when it's just three years apart. And you want to know what? Me and my sister are best friends now. She is the best and I love her to death. I'm 22 and she is 14 and I think of her as my baby. (parents divorced etc) But I swear to god, I use to absolutely hate her soo much. You are kind of over reacting to be honest. I know you'd love for them to get along, my mother use to tell me how she wished I'd be nice to my sister but I eventually got over.
All these people telling you to hit your son until he loves his sister is absolutely terrible. You're going to make him resent her!! This problem, he will outgrow it, but resentment will stay forever. Just keep an eye on them!!!
My cousins were wayyyy worse then this. She was a year and a half older then he was and they would have all out brawls. Hitting each other, she'd call him a fagot and he'd call her a bitch(age 14 and 15 at the time). They still fight a bit, but there really close now, you would never guess they were ever that bad!
Some siblings get a long from the start, and others take time. But seriously, you are over reacting. Unless he's making her bleed or shes so depressed she can't get out of bed, they're just kids!!
I also agree with that other comment, did it ever occur to you that perhaps you're daughter might be partly to blame as well? Do you maybe baby her more then your son? I mean she is your daughter and the baby of the family, that's got to bother your son as well. They are both still babies though, I don't know why everyone is telling you they are too old. I didn't start bonding with my sister till I was 18!! And I swear, i'd give my life for that little brat!
Rihanna Rocks Seventeen Magazine, Tells Girls to Dye Their Hair Green {Stylelist}
Jul 5th 2010 8:50PM Because she likes to dye her hair that means she hates herself? Are you kidding me? Why don't you get off your fat ass and go do something because it sounds like the only person who hates them-self is you!! If you take something as simple as coloring your hair to mean the someone hates them-self, you have some serious self esteem issues.
The other sad part about your comment is how you made it a race issue. It was on SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE. She was telling GIRLS to do what makes them HAPPY. You took a nice comment she made about encouraging girls to be themselves and completly turned it around.
I suppose I'd hate myself too if I was a black woman who can't read.

Dogs vs. Babies -- Which Look Better on a Man? {Lemondrop}
Jun 16th 2010 2:29PM This would have been a good article had you used the exact same guy holding a baby then holding a dog.
Sometimes the guy is just hotter then the other, has nothing to do with a baby or a dog.
I don't like dogs, and I don't like babies.It also might make more sense if it was men holding cats vs men holding dogs. Simply because you can't compare a dog to a baby.
If I saw a guy with a kid I would have absolutely no interest, I'd assume he had a girlfriend or was married. And if he doesn't have a girlfriend or a wife, I'd also assume he has the baggage of not just the kid, but the mother of it.Something I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
I know single woman with kids wouldn't mind a man with kids of his own. And that is awesome, but since I have none, I wouldn't want the baggage. Yes he could be an uncle or older brother, but most likely he's not.
So you really can't compare dogs vs babies. A baby is a much more complex being then a dog. Dog vs cats = more realistic choice
Back to the subject at hand though, seriously. Some of the guys are just hotter then the picture they are being compared too. Next time use the exact same guy !

Is It OK to Flirt When You're in a Committed Relationship? {Asylum}
Jun 15th 2010 4:59PM That comment that you just made, is one of the reasons so many people dislike gay and lesbians. Let me guess, you take every single thing as a personal offense?
Get over yourself, you knew exactly what they meant, a simple oversight and you just had to drag in gays and lesbians into the issue. Jealously affects all of us, straight or gay okay? WE know that!!!
We also know what the writer meant by that, and we also know they accidentally left out gays and lesbians. Big deal, get off your high horse sweetheart, you're not special.
Colombian Clan May Provide Key to Developing a Cure for Alzheimer's {AOL Health}
Jun 5th 2010 12:31PM Do you not know how to read? You honestly worked in long term care, YOU? If you had read it properly you'd realize that what they are saying is that there is something wrong with the training to care for people with dementia when the training for it is far more simpler then a dog groomer. As in perhaps there are some schools or nursing institutions that have a quick overview of how to treat a patient with dementia when it is far more complex then just a few instructions. They did not say it was easier then being a dog groomer!! Learn to read.
Is Listed Home a Crime Scene? How to Know Before You Buy {Housingwatch}
Jun 4th 2010 2:15PM I know that I cannot get aids or hiv from being in a house that someone had it in, or even being around someone with it for that matter. I know it is impossible, but if I was aware that someone near me had that disease, I would get as far away from that person as possible. I would not want to live in that house cause it would just freak me out to know that the disease was within those walls. Knowing how many lives it devastates everyday, I want it no where near me. I know it's mean, over reacting and unfair, but if it makes me feel safe, then so be it. And judging from a comment here and there on this page, I am not the only one who feels this way.
Da Brat Released From Prison {The Boombox}
Jun 2nd 2010 4:50PM You lost complete credibility when you said "Quite likely he is not a Christian".If you want to know why so many people hate religious people, it's because of people like you. Always trying to find a way to throw in that you think being a christian makes you better then everyone else. I rarely curse, and I'm not a christian. What happens when another one of your christian leaders falls again? You won't be able to say "quite likely he is not a Christian". Good job ruining your own comment with your religion.
