Jon Stewart Jokes About Rick Sanchez Controversy {PopEater}
Oct 3rd 2010 11:26AM Isn't it sad? These guys joke about a minority newscaster, and it's alright -- especially since the minority newscaster lost his job because of what he said about these guys.
Buying those discounted flowers could lead to months of undiscovered charges {WalletPop}
Mar 11th 2010 6:30AM Good information about negative option marketing. But related to the online flowers issue is the expectations placed upon the recipient -- unknown to the sender.
When you think you're sending that beautiful bouquet depicted in the online picture, think again.
What you're REALLY sending is a vase, a bunch of flowers and a packet of flower food, along with instructions for the recipient to assemble your gift.
Kinda like sending someone flour, eggs, milk and a recipe -- and calling it a birthday cake.
If you need to send flowers, call a florist in the recipient's home town. Given online access to phone numbers, it's not that hard anymore.
Tiger Trying To Rewrite Rulebook With Conditional, Contrived Apology {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Feb 18th 2010 4:11PM Sounds like SOMEbody didn't get an exclusive invite as a "friend" or "colleague". The alternative is to offer one's self as a sacrifice to the gods of gossip -- by taking questions from smarmy journalists, like the one who wrote this piece.
McDonald's may be ready to end the beef over teen's McFest charity concerts {WalletPop}
Feb 5th 2010 5:44PM @Heather...I appreciate that many, like you, derive a living from working for McD's. Boycotts DO affect the livelihoods of employees.
However, you're pushing the envelope when you talk about how much McD's "donates" to the Ronald McDonald Houses. Where do you think the money goes (deposited by CUSTOMERS) from those little steel boxes in front of the registers? WE drop our change in the boxes, but RONALD gets the credit?

Jan 29th 2010 9:22AM @ MELISSA. Do you mean on the bridge?? (And I DON'T mean the Chesapeake Bay or Coronado Bay....)
Avalanche of Animated Adventures Alienates Audiences {Cinematical}
Oct 13th 2006 7:17PM With so much animation, I gotta wonder how long it will be before we see CG "B" movies? Y'know -- horror, exploitation, etc. Imagine a "slasher" flick that transcends special effects in traditional film, or stunts where the director really doesn't care what happens to the stunt man/woman?
