Oct 28th 2010 12:24AM I have a facebook, I text very often, my phone has internet access, and I have a Twitter account. I also have an impressive book collection and I read at least one new book a week. Having access to the internet or a social network does not necessitate a disconnect from real books nor does reading books on paper make you any better than someone who reads a digital copy of the same book, not to mention that electronic books are a way of helping the environment.

At the beginning she explicitly states that they belong to the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which practices polygamy...and goes on to say "(Before we go any further, most Mormons do not.)" And when the interview begins she delineates that DoriAnn belongs to a Mormon *fundamentalist* church.
I really admire the frankness of DoriAnn, its a wonderful insight into that persons mind. While I do not agree with this practice I find this personal profile very enlightening.

May 12th 2010 6:19PM I fail to see how some girls 2 week stint without sex is newsworthy, or why it is being called a "trend" to be celibate. As a 23 year old virgin, I don't find it particularly hard to refuse, or for that matter, get sex. Its not a huge deal, focus is something that has nothing to do with your sex drive, so their arguments for their "sex fasts" are moot.
