The Doggie Diaries: Pippi Gets Carsick {Pawnation OLD}
Apr 22nd 2010 9:04PM One of our dogs is nervous in the car as well. He used to drool like crazy, and with time the amount of drool has decreased. At first, if two of us were going to be in the car one of us sat in the back with him and let him cuddle up next to them (with a towel or blanket in their lap). My other dog got over being scared in the car when I got him a car seat/bed. It's his own fluffly little spot, and he curls up and settles down. We also taught them the names of the places they visit often. They know doggie park, puppy training, post office and store. The drooler now even walks to the car himself (rather than having to be at first picked up, then led by leash) when we say doggie park. Also, I dog sit a dog who is pretty shaky in the car, but I recently changed my dog's car seat to a taller one, and both my dog and the shakey dog I sit for love it so much more. The shakey one has been a lot less shakey in the new seat. He enjoys looking out the window and it seems to calm him down. My friend's dog travels better in his kennel, and another friend's dog does well sitting in a topless kennel with a big dog pillow in it. Anyway, I hope some of those ideas help! I also just think that time in the car will help too. Good Luck!
How Beyonce & Jay-Z Stay Off Celebrity Weeklies {PopEater}
Feb 28th 2010 3:05AM I think the reason that Beyonce and Jay-Z aren't tabloid fodder is because they are normal people and they have never publicized their relationship. They quietly dated, quietly got engaged, and quietly got married. Neither of them cheated on each other, or hooked up with each other under shady pretenses. They conduct themselves with dignity and respect for themselves and each other. That is boring to people who read the tabloids. They want scandal and intrigue. Beyonce and Jay-Z don't give that to them. Brad and Angelina came together under his marriage to Jen, and put under the microscope because they were shady and strange. In six months time Brad went from being married to Jen to being in a relationship with Angie, and having 2 kids with one on the way. That is sensationalism. That sells magazines. Jay-Z and Beyonce doing normal stuff we all do doesn't sell magazines.
Sci-Fi Guys We'd Do {Lemondrop}
Jul 9th 2009 4:07AM You can't forget;
David Duchovny - Mulder, Mitch Pileggi - Skinner, Nicholas Lea - Krycek, The X-Files
Adam Baldwin - Jayne, Nathan Fillion - Mal, Alan Tudyk - Wash, and Sean Maher - Simon, Firefly/Serenity
Jamie Bamber - Apollo, James Callis - Baltar, Tahmoh Penikett - Helo, and Michael Trucco - Anders, Battlestar Galactica
David Boreanaz - Angel, Alexis Denisof - Wesley, and J. August Richards, Angel
And duh - Jensen Ackles - Dean, Jared Padalecki - Sam, Jeffrey Dean Morgan - Papa Winchester, and Misha Collins - Castiel, Supernatural
I think I'm going to even add Chuck because Zachary Levi as Chuck is just too cute to ignore, and of course Adam Baldwin would make a second appearance on this list as Casey, Ryan McPartlin as Captain Aweson, Joshua Gomez as Morgan, Mattew Bomber -Bryce Larkin, and Scott Bakula as Papa Bartowski (and who also was in at least 2 other Sci Fi series - Quantum Leap - Sam, and one of the Star Treks.)
The Office: Company Picnic (season finale) {AOL TV}
May 15th 2009 5:53AM John Krasinski's performance is what kicked it up to Casino Night standard. The close to teary eyed call to Dwight killed me!
ABC cancels Pushing Daisies, and I hate everyone {AOL TV}
Nov 21st 2008 4:36AM I am sorry, but ABC sucks. I think that Shonda Rhimes has a deal with the devil. Grey's Anatomy is crap and Private Practice is a trillion times beyond crap. I tried to watch PP this week because Alexis Denisof was on and I miss myself some Wesley. It was a mistake because trying to watch that crap is . . . so UGH! I just got so mad that crap like that gets picked up and Pushing Daisies Doesn't! Last nights Pushing Daisies was fantastic. UGH! I'm so pissed!
Here's a sneak peek at the new Cupid - VIDEO {AOL TV}
Nov 19th 2008 5:26PM Seeing this preview just made me miss the original, and wish that it was out on dvd!
The Bones panel - Comic-Con Report {AOL TV}
Jul 27th 2008 6:24PM The moderator mentioned the rushed Gormagon storyline and Zack, and the crowed started to boo. Hart said something like, "I know, I know - I read the internet, I know a lot of you are unhappy . . . " No one really brought it up again, but when the opening credits of Bones ran and there was no Zack the people around me all made sad noises.
Showtime news: possible L Word spinoff, new seasons for Weeds, new shows - TCA Report {AOL TV}
Jul 19th 2008 4:15AM I know she's going to pick Jenny to spin off! I wish she wouldn't, but she loves loves loves Jenny! UGH! I would love a Shane/Alice spin off - pick them both and let them have some fun again like they did in season 1!!
Still more Fanesia moments {AOL TV}
Jul 14th 2008 6:13PM Oops, I mean Zack isn't Gormagon's apprentice.
Oh, and also on my list: Wash is alive and kicking in my Firefly world.
Still more Fanesia moments {AOL TV}
Jul 14th 2008 6:05PM For me, the last two seasons of The X-Files don't exist. The Gunmen are still alive, Mulder never got abducted or ever had an incurable illness he never mentioned to Scully, William never existed and we never had to sit through that lame finale.
Season 5 of Alias doesn't exist, sometimes I block out season 4 too.
Christopher and Lorelai didn't get married on Gilmore Girls.
Newly added to the list: Zack is not Gormagon on Bones. When the show comes back I'm just going to think that Zack got a fancy new job somewhere else.
