Man Convicted of Rape -- For Lying to Get a Woman Into Bed {Lemondrop}
Jul 25th 2010 5:46PM So, are you saying that every woman who lies about her age, job, interests, relationship status... is a rapist too?
In that case, it seems men should be pressing a lot of charges as well.
Giveaway - ScoopFree Ultra Automatic Litter Box {Pawnation OLD}
Jun 26th 2010 11:58PM This looks so awesome, I wonder if my cat would actually use it. She has a way of disliking things that make my life easier.
How to Deal With Cat-Callers, Leer-ers and Other Street Harassers {Lemondrop}
Jun 12th 2010 3:43PM If a man slammed a woman against a wall, because she was harassing him. He would go to jail. Just saying.
And yes, women do harass men too. Difference is, men don't report that type of thing, because society tells them that it's acceptable. That if a woman lays a hand on them, or yells at them, they probably did something to deserve it.
How Pet Whispering Can Fix Your Human Relationship {Lemondrop}
Jun 10th 2010 5:07PM Maybe SHE has a few things to learn. Why are breakups automatically assumed as the guy's fault? lol
Is a Hefty Guy Allowed to Say He Only Wants to Date Skinny Girls? {Lemondrop}
Jun 5th 2010 5:49PM I completely agree with Donkeyrock. Everyone has their personal tastes. I know plenty of girls who wont date a guy unless he is over 6'3'', or has a rippling 24 pack. It just is what it is.
Should You Tell Your Boyfriend Who You Slept With During a 'Break'? {Lemondrop}
May 27th 2010 4:45PM I agree with Emily. Normally, I would say "don't say anything"... because they WERE broken up, and free to do whatever/whomever they wish. But considering she CHOSE to do his FRIEND, and that friend is still in the picture... she should say something.
I don't care about who my ex's have slept with. I would however care if they slept with one of my friends, or someone who is in our circle that we see a fair amount. I would think he was keeping it a secret so he could continue to see that person and leave that option open.
I mean, technically, girl did nothing wrong. But it never hurts to be the bigger person. I liked Emily's idea of deciding on some boundaries concerning the friend. That would be a very considerate thing to do.
Wife Stabs Husband After Bad Sex {Lemondrop}
May 12th 2010 3:25AM We live in SUCH a sexist society.
If this was a story about a man who had stabbed a woman for bad sex, it wouldn't be some funny story to share with your friends.
Why do women get away with this stuff?
Laura Bush Discusses the Teen She Killed on the 'Today' Show {Lemondrop}
May 6th 2010 10:14AM Shame on you for being so hateful. You are obviously a democrat. But, regardless of political affiliation... how could you bash another woman so viciously like that. And in such a veiled, "she's the bad guy- not me," type of way.
If you are a mother, I sure hope that your teen never makes a mistake like this. Would you throw him/her under the bus so quickly? Would you expect he/her share their biggest failure and most traumatizing moment with the world?
And as for not being forthcoming during the political campaign... SHE wasn't the one people were voting for. Quite frankly, her teenage years are no one's business. I don't remember any journalists digging into Michelle Obama's personal life story, other than a a basic over view. And the President himself isn't even forth coming with all of his "questionable" ties, he dodges those questions left and right. But I don't see you bashing him.
Shame on you.
Woman Calls Off Wedding, but Won't Give Up $17,000 Ring {Lemondrop}
May 3rd 2010 3:48PM I think the woman should ALWAYS give the ring back.
This whole... "if it's his fault- she gets to keep it," thing is NOT right.
Look at it this way. If a man breaks of the engagement he LOSES money, not getting a ring back. If a woman breaks off the engagement she comes out EVEN, because all she is doing is giving back something she didn't pay for in the first place.
MAYBE if women spent as much money on men's wedding bands as men spend on women's engagement and wedding rings... this would work out. Because the woman would have just as much to lose as the man. But she doesn't.
Yes... maybe she is losing money on her dress or something else she personally paid for out of pocket. But in most cases that the woman is paying for stuff for the wedding out of pocket (instead of her parents), the man has usually paid for stuff out of pocket too. So they both lose, either way, in that since.
But here... we are talking about RINGS. And in the ring department, a woman has nothing to lose if she breaks off an engagement, while a man has tons (in this case $17,000) to lose. That is a HUGE double standard.
Unless this guy has truly racked up $17,000 in debt... she is just being selfish and vengeful.
Even if my fiance cheated on me, I wouldn't keep the ring (I know that for a fact). That would just put me on his level, instead of coming out as the bigger person.
Want a Raise? Nicole Williams, Author of 'Girl on Top,' Explains How {Lemondrop}
Apr 30th 2010 3:26PM "...while our generally more amicable nature isn't likely to result in the lying, cheating and stealing that helps more aggressive humans (read: men) get ahead."
Yes, because men are the ONLY ones who lie, steal, and cheat. I think not.
