About a Quarter of Americans Support the Tea Party Movement {Politics Daily}

Apr 5th 2010 8:54PM I find it interesting that tea baggers/conservatives don't want government interference until THEY want government interference:

"I have the right to decide how my hard-earned money is going to be spent…Big Government, get your dictatorial hands off my wallet and out of my life." But in the same breath (poll), "Ms. Roe does not deserve the right to make decisions over her own body...a little government intervention over here, please."

"Don't give hand-outs with the stimulus money" but, hey, "can I get in on some of that sweet action in my own district?"

"Don't mess with my right to own an AK47" but "not everyone should have the right to accessible health care...guns are so much more Constitutional than sick poor people. God Bless America!"

"Gays and lesbians don't deserve the right to marry or have families" but "the RNC deserves the right to a bit of girl on girl action at a bondage-themed night club...with donated money." I hope they tipped Conservatively.

And speaking of…”Let’s tout ourselves as the Family Values Party…you in, Gov Sanford?” And Sanford replies, “Did someone say party? Will there be girls there?”

Finally…"We'll demand fiscal responsibility from the Dem's" but not so much when the Red states are in control. YOU ALL GOT US INTO THIS MESS! We were doing fine until the cowboy rode into town.

If you don't want government controlling your gun cabinets and wallets - stop trying to use government to control gay people's lives and my uterus. If you believe in the inalienable right to protect yourself, shouldn’t the rest of us have the inalienable right to health care when you accidentally shoot us? What say you, Mr. Cheney? You want to go back to the “America of your youth” but I bet you are enjoying that second income that would have been nearly impossible fifty years ago when women weren’t allowed out of the kitchen.

It’s the hypocrisy that makes you seem less than intelligent. Oh, and Limbaugh and Beck don’t make you look like geniuses either.
