Sep 30th 2008 7:31AM i work for Michaels, about 2 months ago a couple bought 1 xmas stamp set in change (about 9.99) 5 of 6 people moved to another lane and when I handed them their receipt, my last customer asked why i accepted all those coins? I told her that the last customer were tourists from england by their accents and their purchase and they were getting rid of all their american currency before they left for the airport.
and btw, Michaels accepts all legal tender.
