When I was working construction, I ate horrible things for breakfast because I would get weak and shaky before lunch without the extra calories. Not as much fat, but I was loading up on carbs every morning just to get through the day (and drinking beer with the guys after work), and I still lost weight.
But desk jockeys can't eat this crap and not end up with gigantic flabby butts, unless they play squash for three hours after work.

Oct 20th 2007 7:54PM Peas. Cooked green peas, particularly canned peas. I will cheerfully eat any other vegetable, but I despise peas. The texture is totally repulsive. Having something juicy like a grape or a cherry tomato pop in my mouth doesn't bother me, but something that pops and then oozes warm pasty goo gives me the shudders. Yecchh.

If swing voters were forced to listen to his show daily, a lot of them would probably start voting progressive just to stifle their nausea. I'm a moderate, and Limbaugh's constant stream of intolerance and ignorance makes my head hurt.

Aug 28th 2007 12:55PM I think it's sickening that Bush is allowed to go his merry way not knowing how many people hate his guts and think he's a complete idiot. What I wouldn't give for FIVE MINUTES to tell him off without anybody feeding him canned responses.
As for the low ratings of Pelosi and Congress in general, I can't speak for everyone, but I am VERY ticked off that they're scared to clean up the mess...because investigations, impeachments and prosecutions might look petty and vindictive. BOO frigging HOO. That's what I was VOTING FOR... my petty, vindictive hope that a Democratic majority would at least TRY to demand accountability and force the Bushies to obey The Constitution. I am deeply disappointed.
