reikigirl_ the poor guy should have worn a condom or not had sex. Hoe does his irresponsibility make him a "poor guy"? I honestly don't understand that.....

Mar 5th 2010 11:54PM Who in the hell is saying broke women should go out and get pregnant on purpose so they can go on welfare? Please quote that somewhere, anywhere in these reponses. This lady probally makes more in a year than you do. This article and book has zero to do with advocating purposely having children when you can't afford to do so. She got pregnant nad supports now supports her son with the helping of a loving and caring father. Your argument against this lady makes zero sense. She seems intelligent enough i'm sure she agrees that a women with no finacail means should not get pregnant. however shit happens. Thankfully her one night stand choice turned out to be a real man and not someone like you.

Mar 5th 2010 11:39PM Kenneth Copper- :) It's good to know there are still guys like you out there.

WoW! So many of these posts just don't even make any sense. I haven't read the book so I can't say for certain but i'm guessing this lady isn't advocating sinlge motherhood, again just guessing but I think her book is about how she overcame a "mistake" ( I don't mean her son, I mean having unprotected sex). Anyway unless she is advocating getting knocked up and then parenting alone I don't see how posts demeaning her on advocating woman getting pregnant when they can't afford to raise children even apply here.
All these men posting about how they get so and so pregnant and don't see how they should be repsonsible for the kid since they didn't have a choice in the whole abortion choice, well you did have a choice you and you choose not to use it. You could have choose to use a condom and for those who did and the woman still got pregnant you choose not to read the directions on the package that say this product is not 100% effective.
I wish some of these guys would respond that are in the sitituation of having to pay child support for a one night stand and explain the whole story and why they think they don't ahve to pay support, or why they don't want to for that matter. That is your child regardless of how it was conceived. I find it hard to believe that I would love my child any less if she was conceived in a one night stand. She is my baby, regardless.

If these "sperm stealers" are getting men drunk or drugging them somehow and then having sex with them (im not even sure if this is physically possible but who knows) when they are not in the postion to use a condom then they are in the wrong and that isn't just stealing sperm that is RAPE and they should be charged with it.

I want to keep going and respond to some of these posts indiviually but I don't know if the people will actually come back and read them and then I start thinking if they are really that ignorant they probally aren't worth the time. I applaud the author of this book for taking a mistake she made in her life and turning it into something beautiful. She had many ways out of this andi n my opninion she is a great woman for giving birth to that baby and loving him and the same for the boy's father. Again that child is their child and they love himdespite how he was concieved more people should think like that.
