'Twilight' vs. 'Harry Potter' Smackdown: Bella Swan vs. Hermione Granger {Moviefone Blog}
Nov 14th 2010 3:15AM I think the debate isn't whether or not one is more heroic than the other, but rather, in which protagonist do you like more? It was an unfortunate choice of wording that sparked this discussion. For the record, I chose Hermione.
Bridal Debate -- Would You Wear a Red Dress on Your Wedding Day? {Lemondrop}
Jun 9th 2010 11:38AM Actually they stand for that now, but in the past people used to wear whatever was the best dress they owned for a wedding, it didn't matter what color. Victoria changed all of that and if people feel compelled to buck tradition, good for them, as long as its still tasteful, why not? People get married jumping out of planes... different strokes for different people.
Girl Rewrites Medical History, Survives Deadliest Jellyfish Sting {AOL Health}
Apr 28th 2010 9:38PM Actually, the spiders are the only thing there you don't really have to worry about. I mean they are dangerous but you have plenty of time to get to the hospital and get treated and the dangerous part is not even that bad... its like lime disease or something or at least something similar... look them up, its only a nuisance, not death
Girl Rewrites Medical History, Survives Deadliest Jellyfish Sting {AOL Health}
Apr 28th 2010 9:35PM ha! You say that now, but the ocean is probably the safest thing in Australia... the country/continent of death! When they have the top 7 of 10 deadliest snakes, crocodiles that are in lakes, rivers and swimming pools, koalas that have wicked sharp nails and kangaroos that will kill you or at least seriously harm you. Ya... I'd rethink that not wanting to go into the ocean by Australia to just moving away if you're worrying about something as simple as the ocean.

uh... no.
15 Movie Posters Re-Imagined With the Stars Originally Cast {Moviefone Blog}
Apr 26th 2010 2:51AM I think they said that it was anyone originally cast or RUMORED to be. I also don't think most of these what-ifs are all that bad of choices. What I would like to see is a flop, because of the main actor, and who they originally would have put in there instead and then we can judge if the movie would have been better or worse with a different actor/actress... and then dream of happier days if someone else would have taken the position... not to mention a lot of the writings/scripts.
The Real Reason Disney Changed 'Rapunzel' to 'Tangled' {Cinematical}
Mar 10th 2010 12:37AM it was actually the prince that was blinded, when he was pushed off the ledge, or was her hair cut from the post, either way, the witch pushed him off, why is it always a female antagonist?
The Real Reason Disney Changed 'Rapunzel' to 'Tangled' {Cinematical}
Mar 10th 2010 12:35AM You know, it would have been nice if Erik told us the whole story and not the part that he used to make it controversial without actually pointing understandable fingers. They not only changed the name "Rapunzel" to "tangled" but also changed the princess into a feisty teenager and the prince into a bandit... I'm wondering if there isn't more to the story of the title change, maybe disney couldn't get rights to the story as it stood and how they wanted to make it, so had to change it enough that they wouldn't be sued, or sued for as much...? Who knows, disney makes a lot of interesting choices through the years, it could be a sexist thing, it could be a marketing thing, or it could just be a legal thing, whatever, I'm sure everyone who likes to go to disney movies will still go, I no doubt will see it at some point, whether in the box office or at my little cousin's house.
If Disney Animated Literary Drama Instead of Fairy Tales... {Cinematical}
Mar 10th 2010 12:07AM It'd be awesome to get some more shakespeare work in there! Hehe, except Romeo and Juliet, what would Disney do there? Allow them both to live? Shudder. This discussion reminds me of the Family Guy Episode about Multiverses and how Stewie (sp?) and Bryan go to Disney's land and they want to live there because everything is cheery and peaceful and singing, but then a jew comes over and they all beat him up and Stewie remembers that it is disney and they have to get out quickly. Lol, definitely not PC there! But yeah, it'd be great to see that, I feel like Disney is slowly trying to break away from stereotypes and still keep the magic formula with their movies, ie, Enchanted, it's so funny how many references to other disney movies there are, and how the girl saves the day... then again, she needed to be helped by a male chipmunk... hm... But yeah, Shakespear, or, some Russian works, ie Anna Karenina or Dosvesky work... hehe, very dark stuff... what would disney do with it? :)
