Jan 4th 2012 11:47AM I think the best place to start for anyone, is the city they live in...start a group of people and spread the word. It happened for the Tea Party Group, it can happen for this too. If people stop buying one product from one major corporation for even one day, that company freaks out and says they are losing money and then to "recoup" their losses, they lower the prices. The biggest problem is that people are fooled into believing they need these things today and that to get them, they have to pay high prices for them. It's just not true. If you can find the same item at a discount store, who will still make a profit at half or lower the price, then you know you are being ripped off by these big companies. Let's start in our communities and see if we can "make a change" for this country! : ]

I for one am sick of paying 500% markup on everything in today's America. If people would band together, we could run these greedy corporations down the toilet and we will see a huge drop in prices. Stop buying their products and you'll see the desperation! : ]

May 13th 2010 10:22PM It's sad that we live in a society that forces kids to grow up so fast and make them mimic what adults do by having them dress inappropriately, talk inappropriately, and etc. then when they actually do the things that adults do, they are ridiculed and persecuted. When you weigh all the bad about it with anything that you might conceive of as good about it and if the bad outweighs the good then it's usually bad. Wouldn't you think? You have to consider what kind of effect it has on certain individuals..say a pedophile for instance, it could only enforce their sick nature. Does this in anyway enforce a positive nature? I don't think so but we are fighting against a population that has been bred for years to just accept anything that comes their way even if its bad. If one speaks out against such then they too are now ridiculed and persecuted. It's a catastrophe!

May 11th 2010 6:48PM It matters not if it's Miss USA or Miss America, this just proves that when you take something that was once a good way for a girl to strive to be something more than just a pretty face or body and turn it into one of just another sex sells scam that this country is still all about men and their warped idea that really all a woman is good for is to give them pleasure. I hope that everyone does not watch any program or buy any products that endorse this "new" Miss USA. If you want real change in this country then you need to fight back against the media, corporate, and etc. groups and stop giving them your hard earned money.

Maybe then Congress will learn that the American people do have a say in their country. What's going on now is unConstitutional and what our forefathers, who were so very intelligent and brave and fought and died for, feared this very thing from happening. It goes against everything! People need to go back in American history and learn something from the people who stood up for themselves instead of keeping quiet. Power is in numbers.

Try rigorous excercise, and training in boot camp not to mention the mind games and then, off to months to a year of schooling to teach you your profession for your chosen job. They do this to train you to be tough and be a responsible adult. Not much different than going to college except their also teaching you how to defend yourself and your country. Do you wake up everday at 5 a.m.? A spoiled and unforgetful society America has breeded with people like you saying those things. You don't deserve your freedom you take for granted from those who give it to you. If Clinton didn't send all of our industry away there might be more jobs. Then theres the problem with businesses hiring Mexicans to work for less. And no doubt you are one of the ones supporting it!

Oct 29th 2009 8:10PM There was recently a 9 yr old girl murdered and the killer of that girl is a 15 yr old girl. We are seeing horrible crimes from children because putting shows like this on tv -even if you think it's just humor- is creating a spirit of apathy where kids just don't have ANY kind of brotherly love towards their fellow human being. They are so desensitized that they cannot comprehend in their minds what wrong is anymore. I personally do not watch this show because any little bit that I have seen is just disgusting humor to me. How do you expect our children to become decent citizens when you've got every depraved idiot out there creating these shows or movies or music or advertisements all over the air poisoning their minds with even more depravity? Yet so many always defend their actions all in the name of "my constitutional rights." Our country is no longer great!!
