Video: Bystander Pulls Knife on 'Dr. 90210' Star {PopEater}

Apr 18th 2011 4:17PM His wife was at the club. He points her out after the knife incident. I find Dr. Rey's calm response pretty admirable.

Single Mom Delves Into World of Online Dating to Find ... Her Ex-Husband {ParentDish}

Jan 22nd 2011 9:02AM Hey know-it-all jerk, it is groveling. I am sure you wouldn't know, because no one this side of a lobotomy would grovel for you.

My Unemployed Life: The Forgotten Woman {AOL Jobs}

Nov 27th 2010 7:59PM I have had many jobs and I have a degree in nursing. I burned out in the healthcare field and needed a change. Yes, if I got truly desperate I could go back to nursing, but I tried every thing else first.

I heard dozens of times that I was 'over qualified' and 'over educated'. One manager told me flat out that he wanted to hire me, but couldn't because he figured I would return to nursing.

So, I got smarter. I left my degrees and experience off my applications for jobs. If pressed about what I had been doing I said I had been staying home to raise my children.

After that any job I applied for, I was offered. Sure, the pay was half of what I earned in nursing, but I was far happier cooking at a daycare or stocking shelves in a grocery store.

So, that is my advice. If you truly want/need to work at one of these types of jobs leave all the highlights of your illustrious career off your application.

Finally, I will say that I worked stocking at a big box store at night with former executives, EMTs and teachers. I waited tables with other nurses, teachers and former business owners.

Most of them just kept their mouths shut about their experience until after they proved themselves on the job and by then the managers felt they had gotten a great employee and not a potential problem.

The Five Worst Food Network Shows {AOL TV}

Nov 20th 2010 9:24AM Oh, lord, how could I forget...The Two Fat Ladies. Loved them! I didn't like most of what they made- eels, oh God! But, they were unabashedly naughty, bawdy and fat!!

The Five Worst Food Network Shows {AOL TV}

Nov 20th 2010 9:23AM I too miss the heyday of The Food Network. I do enjoy watching the occasional competition- like where they make the enormous candy sculptures, but I do also truly miss Sara Moulton. I even miss Emeril Live with all the Bams, but at least he made things I wanted to eat. I always liked Sandra Lee's food show, but I was irked (jealous) of her blonde perfection, until I learned about what she overcame in childhood. Now, not only do I love her cooking show, but all irrational jealousy is gone and I just want to give her a hug and congratulate her for how well she turned out.
I used to love Paula Deen, but she seems to have gotten a little more annoying and I miss Iron Chef when it was more like a cooking competition and less of a circus.

Chefs Face Revenge of the Busboys {Slashfood}

Sep 8th 2010 7:25AM I always hated working someplace where you had to pool your tips. You know some people weren't honest. Also, sometimes I would have to tip out the hostess, the busboys and the bartender each a percentage and on a bad night I would go from like $30 to $10 real fast. But I would still have to pay the full taxes based on the amount of food sold, not what I took home in tips.

Bill O'Reilly: Jennifer Aniston Is 'Destructive to Society' {PopEater}

Aug 11th 2010 4:52PM I feel bile rising in my throat as I admit this, but I agree with Bill on at least one point. The good father's in our society often get the shaft in custody issues. I am a single mom and I don't NEED a man to do this, but I wish that I had originally chosen a partner who was willing to stick around and be a dad.

Fifty Worst Dates -- One Girl, Many Epically Bad Outings {Lemondrop}

Jul 23rd 2010 10:50AM I am by no means a prude, but I do have excellent survival instincts. Which is why after a first date with someone I barely know, I would NOT go back to their apartment. You are lucky dirty dildos and nudity are the only things you saw. You could have been the main attraction for a CSI team come morning. It is good to know they are freaks so early on, but not by risking yourself.

Jailbird Jailbait -- Which Criminally Hot Guy Would You Put in Cuffs? {Lemondrop}

Jul 14th 2010 9:33PM Colton!! I have been inappropriately crushing since I read a magazine article about him a couple months ago. He is so frigging cute it is criminal. And I agree with your comment about that slimy Van der loser. He had to of drugged girls to get near them, because you don't normally see that kinda inbred-freaky look outside of a 25 cent carny tent.

Love Bites: Vampire Craze Inspires Teen Biting Trend {Just So You Know}

Jul 10th 2010 10:25PM This is not new behavior. It is just 'trendy' right now. In fact, my first real boyfriend and future husband introduced biting in our otherwise chaste relationship when I was 16. It was amazing. My neck is sensitive and if done correctly, so the skin isn't pulled or torn, it can be a huge turn on. The only drawback was that I had to keep large crescent shaped bruises on my neck covered. You think hickeys cause funny looks....
