Mar 19th 2011 1:37PM Men are cooked. Done. No longer a man's world. Women will have a dreadful time finding a quality man. The more upwardly professionally financially mobile a woman is the worse chances of finding a quality man. This can't be turned around for numerous reasons cutting across the entire spectrum of our lives. Without any elaboration as a 58 year old guy I'll give what would need to change to turn things around. Again, make no mistake. It's over. What I present are nothing more than dead answer.....but this is a partial list of what it would take, and feminist women won't like it.

* Intact families with generally mom at home raising kids when they have them
* Parents actively parenting their kids selflessly putting family ahead of themselves with one primary wage earner, one primary nurturer

* Schools tilting academic approach towards boys, geared more academically competitive
* End political correctness
* Encourage boys' natural aggressiveness, teach chivilry, dad as a quality role modeling what being a man is about
* Boys' athletics exclusively for boys
* Men only in military combat
* Private sector jobs creation emphasis in the US
* Religion returning to the public sphere/prayer in school
* Abolish 'no fault' divorce
* End abortion
* Behavioral standards and consequences--traditional values rules promotion
* End Affirmative Action programs disadvantageous to white males.
* End welfare
* Encourage girls to say "no" and to dress appropriately
* Encourage boys to respect, be reverential/deferential to girls
* Validate boys for being worthwhile......encourage them to be leaders, providers, protectors, involved, risk takers, achievers, family oriented, necessary, important, sacrificial....

In other words, time for the emphasis to be away from the self-indulgent preoccupation with girls/women and direct attention back on boys/men/ Feminists won't like it.

May 12th 2010 3:43PM Orlando missed Nelson and Celts missed Garnett last year and the series went 7, Celts came close to winning in 6. If the Celts beat the Cavs this David Whitley writer will be as far off as the Cav writers before this Celt series. All they did was ramble on about the regular season. Throw the regular season away--it means nothing in the playoffs.

It's Health, Chemistry, and Talent. There's planty of rest--age is a non factor. The Celts are healthier and have their best chemistry of the year. Orlando played guys in Celt uniforms this year, but not this Celtic team.

I hope the Magic believes and follows Whitley cause I can guarantee the Celts know they can beat the Magic with their team healthy and firing now on all cylinders.

Apr 3rd 2010 4:14PM Erin deserves none of what she's getting. She did nothing wrong. The poor woman is an innocent victim and could be any of our daughter, or wife.

I wish her well, and will go on record I prefer knowledgeable men as sportscasters/analysts to attractive babes. The best babe is Suzy Kolber--and I still prefer the guys. Sports is a guy's last bastion away from women, yet even watching a great game they don't leave us alone.

Why are so many Black Women Single? {BV on Love}

Mar 14th 2010 4:50PM What we need are more government social entitlement programs so that women can marry the government for benefits in place of a man. We need more pro feminist educational approaches to help women who are terribly disadvantaged in the workplace improve their lives while disregarding men. We need to take all competition out of the educational system as boys like it, but girls don't. We need to encourage girls to be more aggressive and boys more passive, as that's the blue print for a more perfect society. And most importantly we need to ensure boys come from broken homes without role models while encouraging self-indulgent behavior as government and strangers will raise them well while women pursue their careers. The television and daycare wil raise boys to be responsible adults. Don't worry.

If you don't believe me just check out the divorce, illegitimacy, cohabitation, graduation, and marriage rates since 1960.

We've done one Hell of a job.

We'll see how well adjusted men and women really are with changing gender roles.

Men happy to be Mr Mom and women happy to have Mr Mom at home?
We'll see. Best graduate a number of Therapists, as I believe we'll need them.

Oct 21st 2009 11:43AM As a Jew I find the mocking of this obviously Christian football player incredulous. To thank GOD for being given the ability or to pray for HIS guidance should be commended and shouldn't need defending, certainly not mocking.

And for those saying Christians should go into the closet and pray keeping their prayer out of public I'll say two things. One, we have freedom OF religion in the US not freedom FROM religion. Two, with homosexuals forcing society to involuntarily accept their lifestyles as normal and morally equivalent to heterosexual in public would they like to be returned to the closet, themselves?

Sep 4th 2009 7:38PM Real, great post. problem is in the 70's the National Organization of Womyn helped destroy traditional marriage calling stay at home moms "parasites" demeaning them unless they worked and were anti male stating as Gloria Steinem said "A woman need a man like a fish needs a bicycle." Subsequently we started seeing men demeaned in commercials and TV sitcoms with no dad.

My point is boys/men are replicating what they experienced growing up. And many are fearful they're going to be left as they experienced growing up watching their dad or at times their mom being abandoned/kicked out of the house.

We tell our daughter consistently it's going to be tough to find a marriage material guy as few are raised in intact homes with mom at home raising......since most are divorced and have to work.

We societally are reaping what the feminists have sewn.

Sep 4th 2009 1:11PM I agree--noticed the gender advantages girls were academically receiving around 20 years ago.

As gere, above, stated it's getting progressively worse for men and the societal impact will be serious as non motivated discarded men can cause lots of societal trouble and harm as they begin to wander/aren't needed.
