Nov 7th 2009 1:12PM California has banned the use of cell phones, other than hands free, while driving. It is hard, if not impossible, to enforce. Texting happens in the laps of the drivers, below eye sight of anyone but truck drivers. Hands free is nearly as bad. I can hold the phone to my ear and control a vehicle nearly as well as when I have no phone to my ear. with either method, hands free or hands full, the concentration is focused on the conversation.

I know a nurse that works in a cancer center in LA. Nearly 25% of cases of lung cancer are directly linked to Marijuana. Marijuana is more of a risk than cigarettes. The tar and "resin" that coat the lungs and broncial tubes is thicker and stickier than cigarette tar. The B.S. that "hightimes" publishes and propaganda that pro-Marijuana supporters feed is just, well, propaganda. Another fact is that people die regularly from over doseing on THC. It depresses the heart and brain function. Too much THC equals too little brain and cardiovascular activity which will end in failure of one or both systems.

Nov 8th 2008 5:47AM I am the same way. If you offer bad service, you get a bad tip. Does anyone kn ow what the word TIP stands for? It is a GRATUITY so you should NEVER base you livelyhood on it. Most servers think that it is a manditory part of their income when in fact it is T to I insure P promtness. If you are only making 2.65 or 4.65 an hour you better take a look at the FEDERAL minimum wage which is 7.75 or something near. You are being cheated!

Oct 16th 2008 2:02PM Has anyone every really listened to a 16 year old today? These are the words that flow from their mouths like milk from the jug. This is not racist, disrespectful or poor taste. This is just another fast food chain targeting young people or targeting a pop culture. Well at least it is Subway and not Greasy McGreasy Fat Burger. The kids in this country are already too fat and lazy.
