Jul 28th 2010 12:35AM I am in the process of having skin cancers removed and have done this for the last thirty years. I must have a check up every year as they come on without much notice and I have to pay attention. So far they have all been basal cell and one got away from me. Lately they have been showing up on my face and head. The one that I'm struggling with now is on my upper lip and the incision is two inches long. They couldm't get it all but it is treatable with something called aldera. It has a 95% cure rate and it is preferable to radiation or more surgery. PLEASE use sun block and stay away from tanning beds. They result in the same diagnosis. I had a gorgeous tan for a lot of years, now I am paying the price. Believe me, it isn't worth it!! Be smart.....wish I had been. Scars are not as pretty as the tan but I didn't know that then.

Feb 16th 2010 11:38PM Watched them both...remember the original as being the best I've heard, now I can say that once again I have heard the best TWO songs, somewhat different singers and again a tribute to MJ. Not a big fan but he was soooo talented. They are wonderful pieces and both, in their own way, very deserving of all the pride I could muster for 'we the people' trying to do something good for those that need so much. I am grateful for the talent, giving of their time for such a needy cause. I loved them both!!
The Race Isn't About Race Anymore {Politics Daily}
Jan 4th 2008 1:52PM I am heartsick over the results of the Iowa cacaus. Race plays no part in what I feel but the fact that Obama was a muslim scares me to death. Having had a muslim in our family for several years and the agony he has caused since is enough for me to realize that once a muslim, always a muslim. And hearing Obama say that one of the first things he wants to do is gather the muslim leaders together in the White House and see if there is a point that we can all agree on is just one more example of what the muslims have tauted all along. We will put our people into your government any way and where we can. It is our plan that we will turn the United States around and before you know it, the muslims will be running this country. They mean what they say and they will go to any lengths to do just that. Please, people, read and study on what these people intend to do to us. You may be looking at Bin Laden's nephew for all we know. I am a democrat and will vote republican before I would ever vote for this man. I'm disappointed that Oprah is so 'pro' Obama but doubt that she knows just what the muslim's are truly capable of. She is a bright a beautiful lady with a lot of clout, just misdirected at the moment. This man will tell you anything you want to hear to reach his goals. Do not be swayed by his youth and appearance. He will give everyone just enough time to adjust and get comfortable with 'our new president' and then keep your guard up. This is definitely not what we want for our children or our grandchildren. Think before you cast your ballot. Think long and hard about what you want for this country. It is the greatest country in the world and we have the freedom to put anyone in the presidency we want. If you do this we will continue to have those freedoms that we so cherish, but if you put Obama in, eventually ALL our freedoms will be gone.

Oct 24th 2006 4:23PM Oh boo hoo for you Billy...not quite sad enough however. And Shame on whoever thought the idea of the cake was wonderful. Promo, yes but offensive...a bigger YES. Too many good places for that kind of money to go.
