Judd Apatow, Host of Producers Guild Awards, Slams Ricky Gervais {PopEater}

Jan 24th 2011 9:44AM Ok, now, I am one of the defenders of Ricky Gervais.

Everything he said was true. Sure, it was on the edge. Sure, it may have been controversial. But they knew that when they hired him. They know his material, yet they hired him anyway. Blame the promotors of the Globes for that, not the man for being himself.

As for Ricky, the thing about him is that he says what everyone thinks but no one has the guts to say. I actually respect that. I found myself agreeing with just about everything he said, especially about Jolie & Depp... did you SEE the posing Jolie did? Every time the camera was on her, she was posing for a photo op "oh, let me pretend to fix Brad's tie"; "oh, let me put my head on his shoulder for dramatic effect".

There were so many phonies and posers in that room. Kudos, Ricky Gervais, for having the guts to say the truth about the majority of Hollywood and not caring what anyone thinks.

And to those who hated his schtick, relax. I don't think he'll be hosting anymore award ceremonies in the near future, after that crack about the older HFP guy on the toilet with his fake teeth... lol.

Justin Puts Best Foot Forward on 'The Bachelorette' (VIDEO) {AOL TV}

Jun 15th 2010 8:26AM Well, it seems obvious to me and no one else? It's SCRIPTED! Reality TV is scripted! It was in the script for this guy to hobble over to this girl in crutches. The problem is. the continuity person screwed up. I just laughed because it's funny that people still believe this stuff is real.

FOX Picks Up Four New Series, Renews 'Lie to Me' and 'Human Target' {AOL TV}

May 12th 2010 8:52PM I am THRILLED that Human Target has been renewed. What a fatastic show! The cast (Mark Valley, Chi McBride & Jackie Earle Haley) are incredible. Talent like this, on a show with few stars, is a welcome and refreshing change. The scripts are amazing. I LOVE Human Target so much!!

Thank you, Fox, for getting this one RIGHT!

Nicolas Cage Bel Air Home on Auction Block {Housingwatch}

Apr 9th 2010 4:56PM Nicolas Cage is one of the most horrendous actors that has ever (inexplicably) come out of Hollywood. His famous relatives are the only reason a guy that looks like that with zero talent would get a job, yet alone for 20 years.

I don't feel bad for him. Not one bit. He obviously spent far too much money and now can't manage his debt. He should try living like the remaining 99% of the country and then maybe he would have something to cry about.

$3,500 Diamond Ring Giveaway {Stylelist}

Feb 28th 2010 10:05AM There is much to love about diamonds. They are exquisite, classic, elegant, go with any fashion choice and never go out of style. They are the Audrey Hepburn of jewelry - truly timeless.

But my favorite thing about diamonds are their stories. Each diamond has a story behind it. I love to look at a sparkling stone, whether it be a vintage ring or a brand new soitaire necklace, and think of its journey; how it got here, and who it touched along the way.

Giant Drag Singer Overcomes Muscle Disorder to Release 'Swan Song' EP {Spinner}

Feb 17th 2010 9:10PM I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a few years ago. Turns out I have been suffering for many years prior without having a name for the way I'd been feeling. I couldn't figure out why I felt so bad. The worst thing for me, aside from the constant aching and fatigue, is the fibro-fog. Before being diagnosed, I couldn't understand why my memory had gotten so much worse over the years. I thought I was losing my mind, or that I was getting dumber somehow. My long term memory is great; short term memory is almost non-existent. It's harder and harder to concentrate and multi-task every year. Now it's just a matter of learning how to live with this chronic disorder than MANY people disregard and blow off as though it's nothing.

If it's this bad now (and I'm only in my 30's), what will life be like when I am 70 or 80? I just hope some progress will be made and new treatments found.

Our read on Amazon vs. Wal-Mart: Books matter less and less {Daily Finance}

Oct 25th 2009 5:46PM Great article!

Amazon is my mecca. I have purchased everything from DVD's, Blu-ray players and a Tickle-Me-Elmo for my niece. I've found great deals on telephones, batteries, knife sets, curling irons, clothing for my hard-to-buy-for cousin, and even Vaseline Cocoa Butter body oil (which was sold out at 3 different local stores).

Amazon is my FIRST (and about 90% of the time, my only) stop if I need to buy anything at anytime. I am a member of Prime, have been for 2 years, and it is so worth the investment. Not only have I saved a ton of money on shipping (and sales tax), but also the hassle-free experience of not having to get in the car and spend a fortune on gas and deal with screaming kids in the aisles at Wal-Mart is priceless.

I used to work at Wal-Mart when I was a teenager back in the early nineties and trust me, it's not a place I would willingly return to unless the most dire, no-other-choice circumstances were present.

I will NEVER, ever choose Wal-mart over Amazon. Once you've tasted Kobe beef, would you ever go back to eating Spam?

Thank you, Jeff Bezos, for inventing Amazon and making my life soooooo much cheaper, easier and less stressful!

This is very funny. Seriously, hilarious... though it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the good laugh!
