Oct 11th 2009 6:22PM All I know is that whether someone else is benifiting from this or not it is benefiting those who tell as their secrets as well.Have you not ever had a secret that you just couldn't keep to yourself??Everyone has a secret they have not told and I mean everyone...and sometimes a confessional does not work at church as some have stated because you know who you are telling and you have the fear of them recognizing you and having someone you know tell your secret.The main point is we want to be free of our secrets but not a diary nor a priest will help with this cause it is not released it is just set into your own hands or into the hands of another.What we all want is to set our secrets free and never have to look back and think "wait what if someone finds out because they told?" or "what if someone finds my diary and reads my secret?" All I know is that what this site is doing is actually making people feel more secure and safe about their secrets and about the people who will or won't know because no one will ever know it is you.All that is known is that your secret is told,you have a weight lifted off your shoulders and maybe one day because of this relieving you will be able to tell the person you are closest to and it will be done.But for now lets just agree that secrets may drive us crazy if we suffocate ourselves with them and sometimes all we need is just to release them in a way we know that they won't come back to haunt us in our lives 'till we decide to speak of them once more.
