Apr 7th 2011 4:40PM I had a hysterectomy the end of December and while the surgical area is still sensitive, I'm mortified at this "double poochy" stomach I've developed. How in the world do I get rid of it?

'Letters to Jackie' -- How America Consoled the First Family {Lemondrop}

Mar 28th 2010 7:17AM I think it's a wonderful tribute that these condolence letters to Jackie Kennedy and her family survived and have been put into a book for the world to share.

Having said that, the opening statement is somewhat of an insult: Although most of us weren't around then, as we've been told by our parents and aunts and uncles, anyone who was alive then, no matter how young...

Good grief! I was 16 when President Kennedy was shot and I'm 62 today. I'm just curious why the author would think the readers are just young 'uns...or did I misread something?

Keeping Track of Obama's Promises {Politics Daily}

Jan 26th 2009 5:54AM Didn't Obama promise to quit smoking when he was on the campaign trail? I believe he said that if he won the Democratic Party Nomination for President, he would quit. Still puffing?

Two Texas Aggies

eBay mounts counterattack on phishers and scammers {BloggingStocks}

Mar 25th 2007 4:03PM Well said, Gary! As a Power Seller on eBay, I get close to a dozen spams a week and forward them to spoof@eBay and spoof@PayPal, always getting the same canned response from both. I can only hope something is triggering an alarm somewhere within the bowels of the organization to track the spammers down. The spammers/phishers (is that what they're called?) are definitely getting more professional and for someone new starting out on eBay or PayPal, I can see how they could easily be fooled and led into divulging personal information. This isn't a new problem - it's one that both buyers and sellers have been complaining about for a very long time... I applaud you, Gary, for reporting the latest news on this issue...I didn't realize how long it's been since I've read a report on what eBay is attempting to do to get this problem under control.

eBay -- liveblogging third quarter results {BloggingStocks}

Oct 22nd 2006 6:47PM Good grief...you are truly pathetic...I'm not even going to rise to your bait...you have no idea who I voted for, nor what my political views are. You have only made yourself look like a ridiculous loon!

eBay -- liveblogging third quarter results {BloggingStocks}

Oct 22nd 2006 3:56PM While not everyone can be a millionaire and spend their time posting on this blog or have a plethora of eBay stock certificates on their desk, I'm once again complimenting those frustrated eBay sellers who are posting on here with an incredible amount of restraint, based on the responses of a couple of PUPs (puffed up people).

The duet reminds me of the stories of the "olden days," where kingdoms were built on the blood of their citizens.

Also, there is a gross mis-understanding of a few of the bloggers of how many people are supporting Gary...I think that's called "being uninformed."

Not everyone feels comfortable posting on a public blog, but knowing the number of eBay sellers we have in another private discussion group, he is extremely well respected and admired for the guts he's showing in posting these actual comments taken from the discussion threads.

So I know Gary (and Dan and Mike and every other decent person who has posted on here) are not at all intimidated by the sarcasm and games that are going on in this blog by the duet (I'm not even going to give them the grace of mentioning their names)...

Stick to the high road....okay, I have to get off of it for a short detour..."Dr. Fraser Sigh...."

Hmmmm....Dr. Fraser was cancelled and is now committed to tired old re-runs....well, that shoe fits.

Oct 22nd 2006 12:07PM Kudos to those of you who are maintaining your "cool" as opposed to Ann and Sigh. C'mon you two, act like the adults I assume you are. Nasty, sniveling, derogatory remarks are so childish...I guess if the media is reading this blog, though, they'll get a good laugh at your postings.

I've known people like y'all and have found them to be bitter and unhappy with life in general, and that transfers to everyone they can touch, whether it's via this venue, or any other path you take in life.

eBay sellers who are posting on this blog, don't waste any more of your time trying to counteract their ridiculous behaviors. You're not going to change them, and let's just ignore them. They're not going to go away, because posting on this site makes them feel important.

So don't keep feeding their egos. We don't need to defend anything to these two...ummmm....people...for pete's sake...

Ignore 'em...we have another avenue of communicating with each other, and we don't need to include these two in what we're doing.

Oh, by the way, the comments that Gary is posting...if you'd spend a little time on the eBay discussion groups, you would see that these ARE actual remarks made by fellow eBayers. But then...what am I thinking? You really don't give a darn what we think...it's all about you...

Good grief....so, my friends, once again, ignore Ann and Sigh...let them have their own dialogue and see who can one up each other first.

Gary, keep posting the comments you're getting off of the discussion groups. Then don't bother to respond to this duet when they come back with all their nonsense. There are a lot of intelligent people reading this blog, so just keep to the high road, my friend, keep to the high road. Let them wallow in the mud alone.
