Family Faces Eviction Over Toddler's Noise {AOL Real Estate}
Feb 1st 2012 11:41PM The answer to that would be ... NO, people do NOT know what discipline is anymore. I work in retail and see rotten, undisciplined kids all day. I hear mothers say "no, no, no, I told you no, don't touch that, listen to mommy, no ..." BUT THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING TO ACTUALLY STOP THE KID! It makes me crazy. Kids want OUT of the cart, mom says "no", kid whines and cries, and MOM TAKES HIM OUT AND LETS HIM RUN WILD! NO doesn't mean ANYTHING to these children. Personally, I would like to be a fly on the wall when one of these screaming, spoiled rotten, bossy kids turns 16 or 17 and tells their parent to go @#$% themselves when the kid doesn't get their way then. Yep, a fly on the wall ... I laugh my ass off when I think about their future!

Britney Campbell, 8-Year-Old Botox User, Taken Out of Mother's Home (Video) {Stylelist}
May 16th 2011 12:10PM If the child truly thinks an 8 yr old can have wrinkles and that botox is good for her and that injections can make her look BETTER, then she is already a mental and emotional mess.
Victoria's Secret Destroys Returned, Unworn Merchandise {Stylelist}
Apr 28th 2011 5:45PM I don't have a problem with V.S destroying returned merchandise at all! I understand that this will obviously increase prices to some degree BUT it will also insure that I might NOT take home something undesirable that may have found its way onto that returned garment ... like .... mange from her dog, bacteria from her infected toenail, the flu when her child sneezed on it (or worse ... snot from her kids runny nose) ... and what about aids, hiv, crabs, lice, etc ... the list goes on and on. I work in a fabric store and we tell customers that fabric is a custom cut and CANNOT be returned. Occassionally, our manager will however take something back ... that item is then trashed for sanitary reasons.
The 7 Biggest Mistakes Newbie Baby Namers Make {ParentDish}
Apr 10th 2011 9:01PM I absolutely disagree with #2 ... kids are still "rotten on the playground" when it comes to the unusual names and either the unusually spelled or "misspelled" names of others. A person might be smart and understand but a group of people is stupid and noxious towards others who are "different". Don't name your child something ridiculous (Dweezel ?), regionally inappropriate (Angus for a child who lives in Tupelo, Mississippi not Scotland), unusually spelled (DeeAnneAh ?), accidentally misspelled (Oprah ? ... yes, she has said that her mother misspelled Orpah from the Bible ... luckily for her, hard work and talent got her past her name issues), or just made up (TuhQuanDria ? WHAT?!?!?)
Go Daddy's Bob Parsons Brushes Off Criticism Over Elephant Killing {AOL Small Business}
Apr 1st 2011 8:12AM If hunting elephants is NOT illegal in that country, then he did nothing wrong by shooting the animal. Whether he was there for sport or on a humanitarian mission (killing an animal that was destroying villagers crops as reported) is beside the point. If it is legal there, it is legal. Also, the local villagers evidently shared the meat for food so the animal didn't just lay there and rot. I have no problem with this under these circumstances.
Who Could Replace Charlie Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men'? {PopEater}
Mar 10th 2011 12:35AM They need to stop talking about replacing Sheen with someone who has similar character "flaws" and start talking about replacing him with a totally NEW character! The new character doesn't have to be an alcoholic womanizer with a sarcastic attitude ... he could easily be a normal INTELLIGENT man who sees Jake, his dad, his grandmother, and Berta exactly as they are and is both astounded and amazed that they have been thrust into HIS life ... he could taunt them, laugh behind their backs, or love them as they are ... just make it someone different with a different agenda.
Bristol Palin Loves Being 3,600 Miles From Her Mom {PopEater}
Jan 27th 2011 1:39PM Figboot,
I agree! I am now 50 years old ... a single mother, raised my son without his father (but thank goodness, with the help of my parents), worked 40 hrs + EVERY week, couldn't afford any "luxury" purchases, lost several of my teeth because I couldn't afford MY PORTION of the dental expense for root canals and crowns (will probably have to get dentures in the next 5 yrs or so ... IF I CAN AFFORD THEM), can't afford to see the doctor about things like arthritis, sore knees, sore throats, etc ... don't own a house (probably never will) ... again, I worked all my life, tried to finish college (had to drop that idea when my son's father skipped out on us), am honest and hard working so what did I do wrong?
