Apr 4th 2011 3:59PM I drive a BMW I and I resent the inference that we are jerks. The real problem is the REAL jerks who dent doors from their trash heap. Nothing wrong with being successful and buying a BMW; and wanting to take care of it. BUT - if we don't want our doors dinged, we can park at the end of the lot ... and I do. "0" dings in my '01 530 after 10 years of ownership. The gyst of the article is spot on though: if you don't want your doors to have lot rash, then leave it at home or park far away.

If he gets re-elected, (God help us) he will begin shoving more socialistic, govt' control ideas down our throats. I wonder though if he's counting on the A-Corn fed cows to elect him again. No - I don't at all subscribe to the new world order where kids command respect from me with stupidity like loud car stereo's. I think you'd be ticked too if I turned up my Mozart. But I wouldn't do it. If I'm driving around with windows down and pull up to a stoplight, I turn mine down as I don't want to offend in any possible way. It's called respecting others.
Vult-R: I'll bet a million bucks you were never an Eagle Scout. THAT would impress. Working at McDonalds and spending the only money you have in your name for some more bass is an empty life. When you drive by, you think we're looking at you 'cause you're cool. If that comforts you, keep thinking it. It will get you ahead - someday.
