Sep 19th 2009 12:33AM The fact that they are trying to say it was "staged" is only a feeble attempt to cover kanye west's ass. Not all that talented, so he resorts to these racist outburst. This should be the end of his career. People should ban leno for having him on his show after that.
This is one of many examples how racism goes BOTH ways. Yes, there is black racism - it just doesn't make the five o'clock news. There have been people attacked and murdered for driving in certain public areas, or just jogging in Central Park. Female college students have been stalked, raped, and murdered, and it was all because they were white. Remember those six women in baton rouge, all victims of derrick wayne thomas? How about the DC sniper? The media swept it all under the rug.
Before racism can be overcome there needs to be an acknowledgement that black racism is a problem too. Closing your eyes to it won't make the problem go away. Keeping a guard up against hypocrisy really would help.
