First, other countries DID come to our aid & donate money... & what you are saying is stupid anyway. i compare that to bill gates house burning down & people donating to him so he can rebuild.

Second, you cannot compare the homeless situation to the problems in haiti. "we need to help ourselves & our homeless". that is extremely selfish! we need to help mankind. if people thought like you than ALL charities would be out of business. you are basically saying because we live in this country full of abundance & they live in poverty we shouldn't try to help? OUR homeless people can have a hot meal & blanket @ the neighborhood shelter, every day.... do our homeless children eat MUD in order to fill their stomachs? of course not... they don't even have safe drinking water over there most of the time. that country is sooo poor that children are made to work as domestic help, etc. do you think they asked to be born in those conditions? do you think the haitians shouldn't have kids because they live in a poor country? do you REALLY think they know what it's like to live in the US when they have lived that way all of their lives? they deserve to live just like the rest of us do. life was already tough for them because of their government.

thank god that most people have a heart & don't think as selfishly as you & this no name basketball player.

first of all, she is a STUDENT. there is a thing called a "STUDENT VISA" that entitles STUDENTS to go to school, work, & live here legally for a period of time. there are also people who are here on work visa's. if you're here illegally, you are here illegally. it has nothing to do with the color of your skin or the country you have come from.
