Jul 23rd 2010 9:31AM Pretty sure this writer must know NOTHING about the sport. ALL analysts agree Lance would've easily been within the top 5 had it not been for such bad luck the first few days (5 accidents & 2 flat tires that cost him upwards of 15minutes). As a GC contender, he would've never been allowed to stage a break to gain that back. Instead, he delegated himself as domestique to help teammate Levi try to get onto the podium & get a stage win. What you've seen at the end of stages isn't "struggling", it's called power reserve. He reserved all necessary energy so he could attack on a stage in the Pyrenees Mtns to try to get a stage win. If you ever watched that stage, you know he looked absolutely amazing & lost out to a world champion sprinter. He has looked very strong throughout the Tour. If you don't understand the sport, don't open your mouth, all it does is make you look like a complete jackass to everyone who does.

And all of you saying he used drugs...do you realize he is the most tested athlete in the world? He would've been caught. There is not, nor has there ever been, any sort of proof. All you have are the mouths of haters spewing filth. You also, look like complete jackasses, doing nothing but hating because you can't imagine someone being that good. Get over yourselves. Get off the couch & go do something with your lives.

Renshaw was not DQ'd for the head butts; the head-butts were the result of the other rider, Deans, pushing him to the left & Renshaw using a legal track move to re-gain HIS lane. Head-butts have happened several times before in the Tour with the only punishment being given last place for the stage.
Deans was also equally to blame for that & should've also been relegated to the back of the results. The DQ was for him moving to the left after letting Cavendish by & moving another sprinter into the barriers. Fanhouse, get your facts straight before reporting.

Jul 8th 2010 7:37PM That is so funny! I've always named my furbabies with middle names, even though the first isn't a "people name". My first was Chey Marie, Gryphon Dean, Brody Joseph, Diesel Jacob & Dozer Alexander. The only one who doesn't have a middle name is my cat Bitsy, and that's cuz he's so tiny a middle name is just too big for him.

Jun 7th 2010 12:00PM LEAVE IT!! Mine is Cameo..you know how many people murder my name on a daily basis? Of course kids made name references of "camera" or "camel" when I was little, but by middle school I had learned to appreciate my name, that I didn't sit in class with any other Cameo's. Correcting people on how to pronounce it is not a big deal, in fact, when they finally hear it correctly, they comment on how much they like it. Leave her name as it is, it's beautiful & unique, as she gets a little older she will love it & won't mind correcting people. No matter what a kid's name is, they will get picked on for it when young.

May 10th 2010 10:30AM The actions of ONE PERSON on the team should not require the entire team to be punished, nor the coach. This was not like the Duke situation where it was multiple members of the team under suspicion, this is ONE PERSON who happened to play for the team. Neither the team nor the coach are responsible for his actions & they should not be punished as if they were. The team played hard to get to the championship & they should have no ill will in going forward.
