Probably wanted to be gay after being married to her as she is so mean and abrasive. Not smooth at all. Whenever I watch her or listen to her, I find her extremely irritating.

Aug 4th 2010 11:34PM I make my own kefir and yogurt. It is super easy and tastes great and all it is is milk with yogurt or kefir culture. You heat up milk to about 90 degrees, add the culture and shake, Let sit in a warm place for 12 to 24 hours and you have it. You can add honey or agave if you like and from one pack of starter, you can get up to 40 quarts as you use the starter to make the first and then use the first to make 3 or 4 more quarts. Then you do not have to eat all the other crap that they add.

May 17th 2010 3:04PM I love coconut oil. I buy two kinds of it. Organic Virgin for using as lotion on my body, eating it and for my animals. I add a teaspoon to their food. I also buy Expeller Pressed as it has no odor or taste so I use that for cooking, baking, and seasoning my cast iron pans. The stuff is fabulous. Works great instead of KY and a million times healthier. Holds up under high heat so pleasant and healthy to cook with. I have the best cholesterol readings ever and feel that a good part of it is coconut oil.

May 13th 2010 12:26PM Here is a really easy way to make "killer" waffles.
Buy the Buttermilk Baking Mix from Trader Joes. (If you do not have a Trader Joes, get a decent healthy baking mix, not Bisquick as delicious as it is) Instead of water only, use 3/4 buttermilk and 1/4 water, eggs and for the oil I use melted butter. Mix gently and cook on waffle iron. Simple, easy delicious and nutritious. Add some nuts or chopped cooked bacon or soy bacon, wheat bran or cooked oatmeal to the batter also for added fiber if you like. I like fruit but it sticks to the griddle so I add after I cook. We cook this at least one weekend day and the boys all love it.

Apr 20th 2010 8:08PM Yes they did cut off their water in the Central Valley and it was done by the Federal Govt, not State although the state did not do much to help. They cut off the water for the Delta Smelt. The farmers asked for help and what the feds did was fly over and look but not stop and not do anything about it. Our own Barbara Boxer voted down to even supply temporary water so there is the story. Comedian Paul Rodriquez got involved as some of that land was his families and he showed how the land had dried up and crops were dead. California is my land of birth and I love it BUT we are way screwed up regarding our politics and economy. LA is on the brink of an economic collapse and we are still handing out money like there is no tomorrow. I would buy one of these plates to support a farmer but Id rather give my money to the Farm Bureau. At least I would have hope if the money is not in the hands of the politicians. This information comes from a second generation farmer.
