Texas A&M Recruit Tobi Oyedeji Dead After Car Accident {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
May 17th 2010 10:56AM I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what a parent goes through when something like this happens. The closest I have been is finding my husband dead in his workshop from accidental electrocution. It is an image and a memory I will never be able to erase and I almost didn't survive it. I know for certain if one of my children (age 26 & 30) were killed, I would not want to go on. God Bless You dkendallnj.

May 17th 2010 10:52AM You are so right on with your comment dcmhc123. Thank you for putting it this way. All I was thinking about was the tragedy and how many people's lives will be forever changed because of this.
Anonymous Craigslist Letter to Dead Girlfriend -- Kleenex Required {Lemondrop}
Jan 6th 2010 11:53PM It is very sad, but the "hore" drawn cart made me giggle too. Also, Ron, who compares death to a divorce obviously has never lost anyone close to them. That was insensitive. It is grief, but a totally different kind of grief.
I lost my husband 6 years ago and I'm still not over it. I found him dead in his workshop where he accidentially electrocuted himself. It is a sight I will never forget and am being treated for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. I lost my job of 25 years because I could not function. You will probably be over your loss when you start dating again. I hope you are because you sound like a bitter, jilted man. I hope you find that someone special soon.

Enter the World of the brownbaby (a Person of Mixed Race Heritage) {Blackvoices Main}
Apr 24th 2009 5:37PM Peaches, I have a son who is mixed black/white. He is 28 years old now. Believe me, in 1975 it wasn't easy being a white girl dating a black boy. There was so much prejudice back then, it's scary to think about it now. But here we are 28 years later - it is a lot more accepted - thank God. My son is and has always been the joy of my life. I did not stay with his father - we were both very young - but I would not change a thing about him. He excelled in school, graduated college and is living his dream in NY. I am so proud to call him my son.

Apr 24th 2009 4:59PM What do you mean "Keeping It Real". He IS keeping it real. This is a man who loves a woman, and has a family. That's all that needs to be said you prejudice ass. I'm white and could give a rat's ass who is married. Get a life and don't worry what other people are doing. It's really none of your business. You are just jealous because he has a super model and you don't.
Is Fergie Losing her Hair? {Stylelist}
Apr 16th 2009 6:10PM I have almost the same type of hair loss in the same place as Fergie's. I've tried Minoxodil, vitamins, hair care products and just like the woman in a post before, I used Toppix. Toppix does not make your hair grow back, it just makes you look as thought you have more. It helps a little, but does not work well if you happen to get caught in a rain storm. As far as shampoo, conditioner and other products, I prefer Sami Fat Hair. I've also tried Ookisa, but it didn't help at all even though it claims to show after the first use. It doesn't do anything. Not only is Ookisa extremely expensive, it does not work. They have a website that boasts a $6.95 trial package, but I didn't read the small print and it ended up costing me almost $50. Sami Fat Hair is more reasonable and I have been pretty happy with the product - they have mouse, thickening serum, shampoo, hair spray, etc - a whole line. I have been thinning for years, but recently it has gotten worse. I feel sorry for Fergie - I know what she's going through. People should not point it out to her. I'm sure she is aware of it without these rude comments. Nobody says anything about mine, but I know it is very noticeable.
Burger King goes off the deep end, again, this time in Mexico {WalletPop}

Burger King goes off the deep end, again, this time in Mexico {WalletPop}
Apr 14th 2009 8:00PM This is just a smutty commercial - and who wants to eat burgers and talk about butts at the same time. That's just wrong. Seriously, I was very surprised when I saw the square butt commercial. It is not appropriate for children to see and it's disturbing to me that they use Spongebob as part of it. I'm not being a hard ass, but Burger King advertising has gone to hell. They could take some lessons from the funnier Jack in the Box commercials. Just my opinion and I'm not making a big deal out of nothing, but it is not appropriate for children to see.
