Kendra Wilkinson Drops Down to a Size Zero {PopEater}

May 25th 2011 4:12PM What is the value of the number "0"? I remember being taught in school that it has no value, as in anything labeled zero is worth or equal to nothing. I don't understand the concept of "size 0". Also: are there any men's clothing labeled size "0" or is this just some special thing the fashion industry does for women? You know -- to devalue them some more and keep them doubting themselves constantly?

Is Justin Bieber Poised to Be the Next King of Pop? {AOL Music Blog}

Apr 9th 2011 11:09PM I only read the first 20 comments or so...looks like people like Bieber, but they don't adore him, as they did Michael Jackson. Michael's appeal crossed gender lines, affected people from all age groups, and all races and nationalities. For all practical purposes, Michael's career spanned his entire life, more than 45 years. He was a songwriter, extraordinary vocalist, dancer and choreographer. He changed the video industry in ways that are still being imitated today. As a humanitarian, he is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the entertainer who has given the most to charity. (Not to mention the fact that his name is also in there for his astonishing accomplishments as a recording artist.) And for all the attention Bieber is getting right now...it is still not what Michael experienced. He made grown mean weep!!! Politicians and world leaders welcomed his endorsements. Many, many children today love his music, even though most of it was written and recorded long before they were born (not even the Beatles or Elvis can say that; their music was wonderful but it has little effect on today's youth, but Michael? No comparison at all!) Furthermore, MJ was one of the MOST astute businessmen in the recording and songwriting industry. When Bieber can say all that about himself, then MAYBE we'll CONSIDER making him the next "King of Pop". Good luck with that, Bieber! In our life time, THERE WILL NEVER, EVER BE ANOTHER MICHAEL JACKSON!!!

So -- NOW do you realize how stupid your question is?

Should you eat at American chain restaurants when you travel? {Gadling}

Jan 29th 2011 9:39PM I am currently in China. My experiences with the local/traditional foods here have been troublesome. I deliberately seek out American chains. I practically live in KFC, a place I would NEVER go to while in the states...much of what's on the menu is the same as in the states but there are other items that I don't even recognize (couldn't tell you what they are as they are written in Chinese) that cater to the Chinese palate. I agree with Kerrin with regard to the Pizza Hut chain. Again, a lot of items offered are nowhere to be found in Pizza Hut's US menu (pasta, salmon salad, baked mushrooms, just to name a few). The menu is triple the size of the one at home; wine is on the menu, also. And, again, some of the items cater to the Chinese palate. And the atmosphere is a tad fancier than Sizzler at home. I enjoy eating there.

Michelle Obama Recycles Talbots Ponte Knit Dress for Campaign Event {Stylelist}

Oct 17th 2010 1:32AM ...all this vitriol over a dress? Really? No wonder we're in the condition we're in...too many people paying attention to the minutia rather than the real heart of the matter - the sad state of the economy and the fact that many of you have lost your houses, jobs, insurance, pension, savings, retirement fund, dignity, and God knows what else. Sorry but you can't blame that on the Obamas or their clothes. You need to take your anger out on the appropriate source(s). Grow up.

'American Idol' Lowers Age Limit to 15 {AOL TV}

Jun 22nd 2010 10:39AM I was about to say exactly what you did. Why don't they raise the age limit? Give older, more experienced and (probably) more seasoned artists a chance? Tweens are fine, but I for one am sick of that industry leaving mature music lovers out because they are fixated on youth...besides - kids should just be kids; they don't need to be bothered with the nonsense that's waiting for them in entertainment...give them a chance to experience being a child and THEN grow up.

Study Shows Men Have A Longer Sex Life {Personal Articles}

Apr 17th 2010 1:15AM ...why do they conduct surveys just to confirm the obvious? And so what? Who cares? A good portion of the reason men have more sex than women is because they've been given permission by society to do so. Also, their biological makeup seems to dictate that this be the case. I hope that there are not any women out there concerning themselves with this in any way unless they are in a committed relationship where philandering is not part of the deal...otherwise...I mean really...so what?!

Please Tip Your Waiter! {AOL Jobs}

Mar 18th 2010 2:47PM Amen and almost 'nuff said...I am a former waitress, by the way and I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion that a patron HAS to tip someone...they absolutely do not -- it's a GRATUITY!!! (look the word up!)...they pay to eat/drink, not to pay someone's salary...if the employer doesn't pay what you'd like them to, don't take the job...and if you run into a rude patron -- too bad; comes with the territory...and in this economy I realize that it is not always easy to just change jobs, but it isn't always easy to tip either...quit whining and trying to get something for nothing. It is the responsibility of the company to pay your wages, not mine...and one more thing: I realize that many restuarant workers face the issue of being taxed on the assupmtion that they are tipped every time they serve someone...Americans need to stand up and figure out a way to protest the government's efforts to gouge a whole in the rears of people who can't afford it. It is not the patron's fault that wages are low. It's the company and the laws that govern these issues. Somewhere in the article the statement was made that if you can't afford to tip the server you shouldn't eat out...I say if you can't afford to pay your employees then don't have a restaurant, or do the job yourself!
