This particular ad has *nothing* to do with encouraging sexual or other violence. Why do people immediately jump to nude=dangerous/violence? It's just nudity, it's really no big deal.

Also, you have to consider how much damage all this heat styling is going to cause in the long run. It even says here that thin hair is smaller in diameter and therefore more delicate. And yet Ted is recommending that you blast the roots with a dryer and then blow it out with a round brush. Maybe every once in a while for a big occasion, but definitely not for every day. Anyone with thin, fine hair would risk a lot of damage and breakage from so much heat styling. For the most part it's best to work with yuor hair's natural texture and put product in before air-drying (or even setting with pin curls).

Jun 28th 2011 7:02PM Ew, why is Emma Roberts wearing hers Trailer Trash style--unzipped with the tab turned down, and cut so far up you can see the pocket linings? Ordinarily, Emma seems like a pretty classy young actress. I never "got" the whole "unzipping the front of your shorts" thing--this was kind of big in the mid-90s, but why would you want to make yourself look like you're so fat/bloated that your shorts don't even fit? It looks so bad.

Feb 7th 2011 1:43AM To the guy who thinks it would be better to use "America the Beautiful" as our national anthem--that's kind of a ridiculous idea, considering that it's the same tune as England's "God Save the Queen." So, at the Olympics, a gold medal winner would get the same instrumental anthem whether they were from the U.S. or the U.K. They already kind of resent us for rewriting the lyrics to their national hymn; it wouldn't be smart to co-opt the tune as our own. If we had to have a new one, "God Bless America" would be a better choice, IMO.
