Jul 16th 2009 2:43AM You must be joking? I can understand my mom having a few shots and calling it quits, but no, she doesn't know when to quit!! She hurts herself, by falling and stumbling. She yells and loses her temper. She throws out accusatory words and starts fights, then becomes the victim. I have had my mom in my face, pushing at me, screaming at me, because I "lied to her" because i "got smart with her". Everytime my mom drinks herself into a stupid drunk (70% of the time), we are left picking up the peices and comforting her. Fuck that. I hate the person my mom becomes when she drinks, and I thank god that she has cut down on her drinking. It hurts my heart to see her drunk, and I get so mad. So, no, Mommy does not need to get drunk. Just take a drink or two to relax.
