Passengers sick again, cruise line cancels sailing {Gadling}
Feb 8th 2012 8:10AM I know several people that have been on cruises and loved them..."best time of our lives". I say good for them! Personally, I have never had the desire to get stuck in a small room with the possibility of being confined there (claustrophobic) with a pukey bug. The mere idea of how the norovirus spreads just grosses me out no matter where one contracts it. I LOVE the ocean and could spend the rest of my life with forever access...but all you cruise hounds enjoy....I'm sticking to land also.
Party Host: Not Me, Not Ever {Shelterpop}
Mar 12th 2011 11:11AM Our home is nice. We live in a rural area...and truthfully...we dont have a snob in our group of friends, and if we do/did..so what? That being said, years ago we started a tradition. At the end of summer we had a "Redneck Party BBQ" We used up all the unmatched plastic cups and knives, forks, spoons. We used up all the B;day decorations, and any other decorations we accumulated thru out the year. Used left over things to make it more redneck. My husband even made a RN golf course! Everyone brings a food something to share and we've given food some wild names. LOL Point to all this? Nothing matches, we get rid of all the old, and we have a great time!!
Is Wearing Princess Di's Ring Bad Karma for Kate? {Lemondrop}
Nov 19th 2010 6:49AM I'm very superstitious when it comes to some things, but a Diana's ring? No. Not yet anyway. As long as there's no "long line" of deaths with women wearing it then I'd say it's fine, and a beautiful gesture on her sons part to honor her.
When my first husband and I divorced, I gave him my rings back (engagement, wedding and anniversary) to hold for our kids. My daughter got the anniversary ring on her 21st Bday, and my son will get the engagement and wedding band someday....IF he wants them.
Fed up passengers demand child-free flights {Gadling}
Nov 16th 2010 7:59AM I hate screaming kids as much as the next person....especially in grocery stores! Those kids are screaming because they cant have what they want or are over tired.
On a plane however, dont forget the pressure inside the plane can effect little sensitive ears, hence possible pain that nothing will fix unless they're old enough to chew gum. And a plane is enclosed.....show me a 2-5 yr old that doesn't go claustrophobic crazy in an enclosed area, especially for a long period of time. To those parents that choose NOT to TRY to keep their child calm, they should be sent to one end of the plane or the other. But the parents that do try and the children that cant help it.....show a little compassion. You were little once too.
iRenew balance bracelet stumbles again {WalletPop}
Oct 9th 2010 9:37AM I have to laugh, altho I'm sorry the product has senior citizens thinking it will work wonders. As with most things...it's mind over matter. I bought a magnetic bracelet at a local retail store, that claims to help arthritis. I bought it because I LIKED the bracelet, not because I thought it was going to work, and of course it doesnt. LOL.
Seniors....ask a friend, family member, or anyone before purchasing something that claims it will work for your ailment. Chances are, they will talk you out of it, and save you some money. Unfortunately, my daughter is just as gullible, but TG she asks me first :-)
Coke quietly starts selling Sokenbicha blended tea in the U.S. {WalletPop}
Oct 9th 2010 9:13AM I would love to try this new tea. Its nearly impossible to find an unsweetened tea in the stores. Lipton makes one in bottles, or you can get it at places like McDonalds, dunkin Donuts etc. and of course I make my own at home. Ice tea is the house wine of the south, and i grew up on unsweetened tea, not SWEET tea. Bring it on Coca Cola!
Are Anti-Texting Laws Causing More Accidents? {AOL Small Business}
Sep 30th 2010 9:25AM What I dont get is ...what could possibly be so important that texters/cell phone users have to respond immediately? If it is, do what I do...drive into a parking lot, or at the very least pull over before you text/call back. It takes 2 mins to text or call back and say "I'm driving, will get back to you when i get home" or wherever.
Obviously we have voice mail for cell phones...why dont the companies make an app that will auto text respond a message?
Celebrities Don't Really Die in Threes ... Do They? {PopEater}
Jun 4th 2010 7:36AM It's not just celebrity deaths in 3's. Take notice....it's people you know, Fire calls & unexpected money happens in 3's as well.

And the Director of 'Paranormal Activity 2' is... {Cinematical}
Mar 27th 2010 9:24AM "Considering it is the most profitable film ever made, Paramount has been actively seeking a director for the sequel"
Am I reading this correctly?? If so, I must be a complete idiot...I thought the movie was one of the worst I have ever seen! Rated just a rats ass hair above the Blair Witch....which is at the bottom of my list as THE worst. I feel asleep 3 times trying to get thru PA. It wasnt scary, just a total bomb IMHO.
