Dec 11th 2009 8:16AM Banks/cc issuers must make a profit to stay in business...just like your corner deli or liquor store. So what happens when no more "credit" cards are available? We go to an all cash society? I doubt that would work in the USA. You use the service and you pay the fee(s)...and you do not spend more than you have or will have next month... And then there are those many, many thousands of real people who have jobs because of the banks and credit card issuers...shall we put them out of work also?

Jul 17th 2008 9:46PM www.AnnualCreditReport.com is the site which complies with the US Gov rule to get you 1 FREE credit report each year from each of the 3 reporting agencies. They are required to give you the data...they will try to sell you your credit SCORE as that is not included in the government mandate to provide free report.
Resist the ads and push to buy if you do NOT need your score...just get the basic report for free. And don't do all 3 at once - space them like 1 each 4 months.

It's sort of like sending an e-mail - once out, it is gone and quite difficult to correct, explain or enhance...if that can be done at all. And do remember that the truth is always correct, "politically" incorrect or otherwise.
